@epilande when you get a chance, mind testing the current version with gulp?
Everything works when run separately, but nothing is inserted into DBs with the gulpfile
Emmanuel Pilande
@epilande
yikes okay i haven’t had the chance to look at it yet… will try to get to it tonight

supercookie detection would be sweeeeeeeeeet: http://www.radicalresearch.co.uk/lab/hstssupercookies/
Integrating with Lightbeam would be powerful, albeit a little bit confining
Emmanuel Pilande
@epilande
yo!

@bright-star

bright-star
@bright-star

Emmanuel Pilande
@epilande
sorry had to step out for dinner.. just got back now
bright-star
@bright-star
@epilande check out this commit. Is there a way to control whether or not seeding happens nicely? teampizza/backpack@158ac14
see https://atmospherejs.com/dburles/factory for docs on the new packages

@Gusgus01
Hey guys, I forked the repo and tried to get it up and running. I've got it so it launches (nodemon is causing me some problems), but visiting the test site does nothing...

@bright-star
@Gusgus01 Hey man, sorry; the frontend still needs to be brought in line with the new alert spec. My latest changes to the backend aren't reflected in the frontend so it probably doesn't do anything anymore
https://github.com/teampizza/backpack/releases the POC we showed at startup weekend was v0.1
@epilande is on vacation right now but he said he might find some time to get the frontend (meteor) in shape to meet the alert spec
see the commits on the right

@Gusgus01
Awesome, absolutely I figured asking was faster than troubleshooting and reading through commits and issues. Gitter needs to get better alwrt

@bright-star

@Gusgus01
I wish I went to the devops thing thursday so I could tag up but I had to work late. So the mongodb doesn't have any entries except the dummy data ( I assume it should have more once ive visited some sites)... My first thought was my network interface property wasn't set right.
I could quite possibly be doing something done through the set up
Gusgus01
@Gusgus01
Wrong* jeez typing on my phone is hard
bright-star
@bright-star
Yeah we could use clearer instructions for sure. If you have time, I'd love to go through it with you in person at hicap
if not, just file a github issue with your setup and I'll take a look
Gusgus01
@Gusgus01
Dude if you'd be up for that. That'd be awesome. I'm heading back to MD for a couple days on Wednesday but I'm free everyday before that.
bright-star
@bright-star
yeah, come over to hicap tomorrow evening
bright-star
@bright-star
@Gusgus01 Hey man, just wanted to let you know that on mondays at 4pm is when @epilande and I meet to discuss backpack work
I know that's a little early for you but I just wanted to give you a heads up for when to expect new info/developments
Gusgus01
@Gusgus01
Are you guys meeting tomorrow (memorial day)? Now that I know, I can try to plan ahead lol
bright-star
@bright-star
@Gusgus01 nah, we moved it to today
see the issue traffic for info; we covered some stuff
Emmanuel Pilande
@epilande
@talexand i was able to start all the gulp task separately (gulp meteor, gulp parser, gulp modeler) but running gulp still throws the .map error.. also didn't get that permissions error #32
bright-star
@bright-star
Going to be testing out some CI with https://strider-heroku.herokuapp.com/teampizza/backpack/
bright-star
@bright-star

bright-star
@bright-star
@Gusgus01 we moved the meeting to tuesdays at 4p, but if I'm at hicap I'm always down to mess with backpack
bright-star
@bright-star
@epilande sorry for disappearance; heavy work-related stuff among other weirdness
bright-star
