live_the_dream chattr ?
live_the_dream part of busybox
leoj3n Didn't find that, let me see.
leoj3n looks promising live_the_dream
leoj3n Doesn't look like it allows "extended" (custom) attributes to be set?

sekanato o7
sekanato just wanted to ask why gpg2 spits debug output in termux and is it normal
IRC/Gitter bot
@TermuxBot
fornwall sekanato: what command do you run, and what debug output do you get?
IRC/Gitter bot
@TermuxBot
fornwall hm, I fixed attr to build, which would bring getfattr&setfattr
fornwall but I'm getting 'Operation not supported on transport endpoint' on all my devices, so I'm wondering if it's not something that android supports
IRC/Gitter bot
@TermuxBot
sekanato fornwall: pretty mch any
sekanato gpg: DBG: locking for '/data/data/com.termux/files/home/.gnupg/gnupg_spawn_agent_sentinel.lock' done via O_EXCL
sekanato like this one
sekanato on gpg2 -k
fornwall sekanato: hm, which arch is this on (if you run 'dpkg --print-architecture')?
IRC/Gitter bot
@TermuxBot
sekanato fornwall: aarch64
sekanato Nexus 5X on NRD90S Nougat to be more precise
fornwall hm, it seems to do that the first time for me
fornwall if I remove my ~/.gnupg dir
fornwall it seems to be what gpg2 does (if the system does not support hardlinks, which android does not)
fornwall but as said, it's only a debug message once, you shouldn't get it continously
IRC/Gitter bot
@TermuxBot
sekanato fornwall: not sure what do you mean. I get those "DBG:[whatever]" once but for every session.
sekanato e.g. every time in new sessions it does. I think, that it's just notice-level output, so nothing is wrong really, but I wondered why debug output is even there

does termux support fuse? i have an app that mounts using it... just wondering if it might work?

frumpylava I found a bug in profanity that so far eludes me. It doesn't seem to recognize the time zone, always setting it to 0000. It seems to use glib for getting the time zone.
BrainDamage i've tried compilng libfuse on android and i run in some issues
BrainDamage mainly lack of a threading lib
BrainDamage n
BrainDamage nothing unfixable tought

i am messing with an app called rclone that has a mount option. just through back the following.
failed to mount FUSE fs: fusermount: exec: "fusermount": executable file not found in $PATH
IRC/Gitter bot
@TermuxBot
BrainDamage it needs fuse and the libs, which aren't available in termux
BrainDamage and might not work without superuser at all in android

codeamend does anyone know how to find termux home directory on android?

djp so I installed timewarrior (thanks fornwall) and now I'm musing about how I might use it to track my usage of various apps I (over)use, like termux ;-)
djp on a linux system, I might launch applications with a script that started and stopped timewarrior, but in an android environment, that dosn't sound like a feasible approach.. with apps running all the time..
djp are there termux or core tools that might log app focus? might parse such a log..
djp this ain't mission critical, and it's mostly over my head, but I thought I'd toss it our there :)

If anyone here could use a termux-built version of kerberos and/or libunwind let me know…
I can figure out how to push the local builds up to github or something

fornwall live_the_dream: thanks, I've added --enable-lib-only to make sure it doesn't attempt to build the tools
fornwall indio: hm, perhaps.. but a more useful alternative is perhaps to write something in emacs which scans all urls in the buffer
