@brockallen Dominick pointed me to https://vimeo.com/131636653 -- a presentation that left me nearly speechless. Since we spoke last, the Identity Manager was a lot less "sophisticated" there were no JavaScript libraries you described in this "Oslo talk" and I was a lot less skilled with JavaScript.

I would like to talk to you about "Authentication and authorization in modern JavaScript web applications" created with Aurelia (http://aurelia.io) when you get a slice of time that you can spend on this.

hey @adriatic. are you looking for consulting support? If so, perhaps email is the best.

Hi Brock - Aurelia is an open source project developed mostly by volunteers (myself included - I am very active member of the Aurelia Community trying hard to help the launch any way I can. While I do expect several projects where I was planning to engage your consulting services, this is not one of them.

ah ok. from the initial conversation with Dom it seemed as if this was directly related to a commercial project/product.
as for the normal free OSS support channels, we prefer the github issue tracker: https://github.com/IdentityModel/oidc-token-manager/
also, this is the wrong gitter chat room
since IdentityManager 1) has been moved to here: , and 2) IdentityManager is unrelated to IdentityModel and the JS libraries
oops, sry, here's the IdMgr link: https://github.com/IdentityManager/

That is indeed a correct extrapolation - I mentioned to Dominick this

I am working on a state of the art prototype of a complete Aurelia - NodeJS - Mongo/Couchbase stack for one of the large PaaS vendors Identity Management and Account provisioning (in the style provided by Auth0 for example) is the key part of task - and I need open source components based solution.

Given this augmented context, I am looking for the integration like https://github.com/auth0/auth0-angular - where angular is replaced with aurelia and auth0 with relevant parts of your products

Dominick pointed me to your talk in Oslo and I really got excited about your solutions. However, before I can propose the whole 9 yards to the partner I am talking to, I want to build a prototype myself

Seeing some of your recent pieces (token manager comes to mind) I definitively want to
  1. Install Identity Server on one of my company's servers
  2. Create an Aurelia app that will show the key steps of using your authentication and authorization services as well as account provisioning
As Aurelia is a bit ahead of the JavaScript mainstream frameworks I do want to make sure that know how to use your JavaScript libraries with ES6 and SystemJS loader which is the world Aurelia lives in

well, the JS libraries from IdentittyModel do what they do and should be usable from any JS app. if you find issues, feel free to open issues so we can get them fixed.
ideally i'd have tons of time to rework the libraries in typescripts, but that won't happen anytime soon
if you need architecture consulting for the commerical projects, you know where to reach me :)
