what happens if you disable some of the categories and try to reload the page
like start with 1, then just start increasing

Had tried that, didn't work. The Back Office says the categories are empty, but they definitely weren't before. When I go to edit a product I get this
(500 Internal Server Error)
A server error occurred while loading the tabs: some tabs could not be loaded.

yeah, that likely means the server is running out of memory on that page
something had to of changed either with the data or the server

The logs show the store owner adding products, but that's about it.

When I run htop while refreshing the page, I can see the RAM and CPU ramp up, then fall back when it errors out. But it has 0.5 GB free out of 1 GB
On my back office it says 9 products

I believe it was originally at 128 MB and I bumped it to 512 MB and got the same error. Store owner says she only added 3 products, so I may just restore a backup and go from there
Haven't had orders yet, so won't be losing much

very strange, something is wrong to consume that much memory. I would bump it up to see if you could overcome the error then use the debug profiling to see where it is bottlenecking
but it is using a lot more memory than shops with thousands of categories and products

I restored the backup version, both offices working now. Now on to the PayPal issue. No payment is requested when someone checks out. If someone clicks the PayPal button that is in the Cart, they are directed to PayPal for payment and everything goes through nicely. If someone clicks the Proceed to Checkout button, their address, name, etc is collected but no payment.

paypal express is problematic, I would recommend disabling it. Its not really for use with shopping carts.

With express disabled, once I get to the Payment tab of checkout it says "PLEASE CHOOSE YOUR PAYMENT METHOD" but gives no options

I'd like to propose once again this website for showcase on shops using TB, it's a migration from an old website with dirty code, and since it is on TB it works good and sales increased, SEO also optimized.. better on all points than before !

hi all. not trying to start a flame war here and expect you to be biased, but how are things going with thirty bees? Not looked for a year or so. At the time people were hating on PS1.7 and leaving. Has that improved? We were going down the Shopware road, and probably still are, but before we do our final push, I wanted to check. thanks.

Thirtybees is a dream to work with, the core updater is a big plus. PS 1.7 is still not adding a lot of value to store owners. I don’t have any info about Tb roadmap.

I have setup thirty bees for a client of mine, and after she added some inventory today the site front end is giving Error 500s, but the back end still works. Any suggestions?

Is there anyone who could offer slight modifications to the custom payment method module? I need country restrictions and the possibility to add fees =) I tried adding it as feature request, but this form on the TB website seems to never end "sending data" ;)
