I have styling for a header like so: https://github.com/tohuw/tohuw.net/blob/52828a82ddf5e47ad95a66a3cbb759c4ab7d0f7a/stylesheets/main.scss#L28-L62

How can I do this properly so that the header element has no side margins? Currently, it is causing the header to have margins on each side; I want the header to be full width.

Here's the header in question: https://github.com/tohuw/tohuw.net/blob/52828a82ddf5e47ad95a66a3cbb759c4ab7d0f7a/_includes/siteheader.html

A completely different question, but around the same elements: is there some clever way to ensure the h1, nav and div share the same baseline, so that they all appear to be bottom-aligned to each other? Currently I'm just doing math based on the font-size difference from the h1, but that's rather imperfect.

Regarding the first question: I just tried block-collapse on each of the child element styles, but this didn't change anything. I must be missing something.

Figured out the first question: outer-container(100%) did it for me. Nothing special had to be done on the children.
