so you'd write some kind of accessor like this:
def get_images(z):
   x = 0
   y = 0
   width = 1000
   height = 1000
    # something using this command: GET /v1/owner/{owner}/project/{project}/stack/{stack}/z/{z}/box/{x},{y},{width},{height},{scale}/png-image
   return png-image

this just takes z as an argument, so you'd do something like td.images.fromlist(['0','1','2','3'], accessor=get_images)

so thunder will just assume that they are in the correct order to form a 3d volume?

thunder is going to use the order you give it in the list
so if you want to flip things, reverse the list, etc
