    @anselmdk
    That’s strange - what happens when you try to add a calendar?
    Brian Irwin
    @luminousmg
    When I add a calendar, it goes to a blank grey screen (navigation is still there), no error message in apache or console. It does add the calendar to the database.

    Ok guys, I installed a brand new 3.1.15 (before 3.2 was released) and I see similar issues as @luminousmg . If you look at his screenshots above, we both get two Calendar instead of Calendars & Categories @anselmdk
    Anselm Christophersen
    @anselmdk
    Crazy how a small version bump can break a module… Don’t think it’s too big of an issue, I’ll try to look at it next week, when back from https://stripecon.eu/ !!
    Terry Apodaca

    I inserted a screenshot (Chrome browser on Windows) that does show differences from @luminousmg when adding an Event, no "error" but there is a jquery warning to take note of. @anselmdk I think you are correct in it's probably something minor and probably JS related.
    3.2 is out now too, so you might want to also try and get working versions for both???
    Anselm Christophersen
    @anselmdk
    yeah, I thought of just updating the calendar demo with the latest version
    Terry Apodaca
    @terryapodaca
    You know, I never could get your demo site to work, the one you link to in the module or if I download the github version and install it locally... :(
    Anselm Christophersen
    @anselmdk
    really?
    let’s rectify that next week :) I should basically be running composer install, and pointing the web root to the public directory
    Brian Irwin
    @luminousmg
    @terryapodaca & @anselmdk Thanks again for the help and tests! I'll check back with you next week or so. Let me know if you need any help with tests etc...
    Anselm Christophersen
    @anselmdk
    The demo is finally up and running again at http://calendar.demo.title.dk/
    I’ll be looking into upgrading it to 3.2 shortly
    Anselm Christophersen
    @anselmdk
    @terryapodaca I’m adding your example sites to the README - I hope you’re okay with that?
    Anselm Christophersen
    @anselmdk
    @luminousmg / @terryapodaca it installs just fine for me with the calendar demo on 3.1.x, so I’ve closed the issue (titledk/silverstripe-calendar#7). Probably you’re having issues with some non-standard configurations? Could you have a look at the calendar demo code, and see if you can make it work? If not, let’s continue the conversation on that issue (just reopen it).
    I’ll update the demo to the 3.2.x line now.
    Terry Apodaca
    @terryapodaca
    @anselmdk, my issue (and I believe so was @luminousmg ) with version 3.1.15 was the CMS. In your demo, when I logged into the CMS, I don't see an option to add Categories like in previous versions. There were two buttons for Calendars
    blob
    Terry Apodaca
    @terryapodaca
    for version 3.2, it was the same with the double Calendar buttons and no Category button, and I actually had the same issue as @luminousmg when adding a New Event, the add page is missing half the input fields...screenshot attached again:
    This message was deleted
    @terryapodaca I’m adding your example sites to the README - I hope you’re okay with that? @anselmdk I am completely fine with that, I'll have more for you later on down the road also.

    Anselm Christophersen
    @anselmdk
    @terryapodaca I figured there was a little more to do on 3.2 than I initially thought. Try to do a composer update, I think it should work now.
    Re. the issue with the categories, would you mind creating a new issue on Github?
    I think I didn’t notice this because the demo site doesn’t use categories...
    Anselm Christophersen
    @anselmdk
    Also there are now 2 branches: 1.1 for 3.2 compatibility and 1.0 for 3.1 compatibility
    Terry Apodaca
    @terryapodaca
    @anselmdk I was also wondering if your efforts in updating this module was also going to include updating the version of FullCalendar too? http://fullcalendar.io/
    Anselm Christophersen
    @anselmdk
    @terryapodaca I’d probably add it in via bower and have gulp copy over needed files for easy future updates. For now my efforts are concentrated on keeping the core running and stuff I need myself though.
    Terry Apodaca
    @terryapodaca
    @anselmdk lol, I'm still getting use to Composer, so Bower and Gulp is still a bit over my head :smile:
    Terry Apodaca
    @terryapodaca
    @anselmdk I updated my 3.2 version with Composer...and the Categories thing looks to be fixed now. But, adding a New Event still shows like the above screenshots where fields are still missing
    Anselm Christophersen
    @anselmdk
    you need either the 1.1 or the master branch
    …and try to empty your cache, I’ve been updating both css and js
    Terry Apodaca
    @terryapodaca
    this is my current composer.json file: http://sspaste.com/paste/show/5627b36bae068
    Anselm Christophersen
    @anselmdk
    Ok, master should be good. Can you also paste your _config.php file, or at least the calendar initialization of it?
    Mark Muller
    @mspacemedia
    @anselmdk looking good, I'll try and get round to switching unclecheese's calendar with this one again - I have two charity sites I'm working on that will make good use of the event registration
    Anselm Christophersen
    @anselmdk
    @mspacemedia cool! We’re ourselves thinking of using the event registration for registering for yoga classes
    Terry Apodaca
    @terryapodaca
    @anselmdk here is my config file, I pasted the whole thing since there's basically nothing in it. Super basic installs of Silverstripe and I use the Environment setup on my local dev machine: http://sspaste.com/paste/show/56293f82b0cd2
    Anselm Christophersen
    @anselmdk
    okay, that’s much more simple than https://github.com/titledk/silverstripe-calendar-demo/blob/master/public/mysite/_config.php#L29 - I see I’ve disabled categories there fore some reason, that’s probably it - I’ll give it a look when I have the time
    Terry Apodaca
    @terryapodaca
    Yeah, my installations on those two sites have much more config to them too, but like I said, since this is a basic install of SilverStripe, a couple modules and this module...I haven't tried to add more config settings for the Calendar
    Mark Muller
    @mspacemedia
    @anselmdk has any progress been done on adding payments to this lately? I see payment requirements in the admin but testing doesn't show any hooks into any payment gateways... Am I missing something?
    Anselm Christophersen
    @anselmdk
    @mspacemedia unfortunately not really. Shea Dawson was considering doing some work on it some time ago, I’m not sure what he decided on though: titledk/silverstripe-calendar#12
    Stephen Deere
    @sjdeere
    using SS 3.1.5 .. where do i find the config options avalaible CalendarConfig::init();
    Stephen Deere
    @sjdeere
    wishlist to get this calendar working with http://www.kreationsbyran.se/multilingual-module-for-silverstripe-3
    Anselm Christophersen
    @anselmdk
    ha, why don’t you use one of the open source alternatives?
    translatable and fluent
    @sjdeere I think they are better supported
