Note that Tizonia caches the auth token received from Google Play Music on the first successful access to the service (using a valid username and password) and uses it to re-authenticate in sub-sequent attemtps to use the service (until the token expires; at tht point, Tizonia goes and uses the username and password once more to retrieve a new token)
So there is a possibility that your laptop has a cached token that has not expired. Your Rpi hasn't, so Tizonia tries to authenticate using the credentials. However, with 2-factor and no app password, Google could be blocking the access on your Rpi.
the token is cached under your $HOME/.config/tizonia/ directory
It's a hidden file: eg.

obviously all python modules are installed because i can play tizonia spotify and plex just fine.

when checking existenceof py 3 modules, it returns fail (ValueError) despite all py 3 modules are correctly installed and works for spotify plex and soundcloud.
hence tizonia cant find pafy, youtube-dl, fuzzywuzzy, joblib

But you are saying that Tizonia can't find the Python modules, that would be unrelated.
Can you post somewhere the full log of the error?

Had a hilarious bug just recently. Tizonia played one of my tracks from Google music at a double-speed (or was it normal speed just double-frequency, didn't quite catch on that). The singer's voice was as though she inhaled helium instead of an air :) First thing I thought was - it's broken like that in my Google's library, but no, opened it with browser and it sounds normally..
Also, you are better off building Tizonia with the new Meson build system. It's much faster. See here:

@NonaSuomy : Sorry for the delayed reply. --gmusic-station in theory allows you to listen to GMusic's Free Stations. Unfortunately, this is a strange feature of GMusic that works differently in different locations. In my case, it works with two different accounts, a Premium account and a free account.

Longer answer: I posted a call for maintainers (see the Tizonia Snap repo:https://github.com/tizonia/tizonia-snap). Unfortunately, maintaining the Snap, on top of everything else, is currently a luxury that I cannot afford in terms of time. I'd rather spend that time adding more features and fixing bugs in the software. But I would definitely help someone that has an interest, it is not a difficult task.
@NonaSuomy : also regarding your question in the Github bug tracker about the iheart API appearing to be locked to US I think you are absolutely right. There may be a way to specify the country in the API (I'm not setting any country at the moment), but I would need to investigate it. Do you mind opening a separate issue for that? Thanks!
