    Hi all, do you think we should use .addTo(map) instead of map.add() ?
    I noticed it is alot more robust and can support custom logic by custom layers

    Hi all, newbie here. Is it possible to instantiate markers as an object, not as an array? I need markers to behave as object.
    nmccready
    @nmccready
    @arkhemlol yes it handles both. Please see examples. Also it supports nesting if you set markers-nested to true in attributes.

    are there any significant differences between 'group' and 'featureGroup' overlay types with this library? Latter one works while the first one gives me errors #926

    Is it possible to watch for marker's lat and lng changes (e.g. when dragging )? I want to update another app model. Currently getting 'too much $digest iterations' error because the marker's lats and lngs are already watched by leafletDirective, i presume. Newbie both in angularjs and directive. Thanks in advance.

    Is it actually possible to cancel marker 'click' event without redrawing the marker itself? I'm trying to cancel it like this:

    function disableMarkersEvents(events) {
          var self = this;
          if(typeof events !== 'object') {
            events = [events];
          }
          $timeout(function() {
            self.getMapScope().$apply(function() {
              var map = self.getMap();
              map.events.markers.disable = [].concat(events);
              var len = map.events.markers.enable.length;
              var idx;
              while(len--) {
                idx = _.indexOf(events, map.events.markers.enable[len]);
                if(idx > -1) {
                  map.events.markers.enable.splice(idx, 1);
                }
              }
              console.log(map);
            })
          });
        }

    Changes apply only after the marker is redrawn.

    morning everyone
    anyone on?

    @213374you
    is it possible for markers to be an array, rather than an object with a collection of objects?
    Thnx!
    nmccready
    @nmccready
    @213374you yes either should work
    213374you
    @213374you

    So, rather than

    angular.extend($scope.data, {
    markers: {
    m1: {
    lat: 51.505,
    lng: -0.09,
    compileMessage: false,
    message: "I'm a static marker",
    },
    m2: {
    lat: 51,
    lng: 0,
    focus: true,
    message: "<div ng-include src=\"'views/template.html'\"></div>",
    draggable: true,
    },
    m3: {
    lat: 51,
    lng: -1,
    getMessageScope: function () { return $scope; },
    message: "<p>{{data.angularInterpolatedMessage}}</p>",
    compileMessage: true
    }
    }
    });
    };

    is it possible to do:

    angular.extend($scope.data, {
    markers: [
    m1: {
    lat: 51.505,
    lng: -0.09,
    compileMessage: false,
    message: "I'm a static marker",
    },
    m2: {
    lat: 51,
    lng: 0,
    focus: true,
    message: "<div ng-include src=\"'views/template.html'\"></div>",
    draggable: true,
    },
    m3: {
    lat: 51,
    lng: -1,
    getMessageScope: function () { return $scope; },
    message: "<p>{{data.angularInterpolatedMessage}}</p>",
    compileMessage: true
    }
    ]
    });
    };

    Sorry for spam! I am new to gitter and not sure how to put in code
    @nmccready Thank you! This makes my life much easier

    @nmccready
    code formatting is identical to git markdown
    that bower missing files -bug should be fixed now I assume.

    @simison cool
    @simison want to PR changes to 1.X branch?

    ui-angular — nice move!
    whoah I can’t wait to get one commercial project done so that I could concentrate more open source again
    so many projects and ideas just on hold right now :-/
    nmccready
    @nmccready
    Yeah people sorry about the mass notifications, but I am trying to migrate issues to the new fork
    And currently the tools to do this suck
    If anyone knows a better tool that really works please let me know as doing bulk moves would be great.
    I have tried a python tool that failed https://github.com/IQAndreas/github-issues-import , and currently the only thing that semi- works is https://github-issue-mover.appspot.com/
    Mikael Korpela
    @simison
    no worries, I thought Github would support moving the whole repo with issues/wiki et all?
    I remember doing it once
    nmccready
    @nmccready
    Yes it would if ownership was transferred, but tombatossals refuses to do so. So our lives are in pain because of it.
    Mikael Korpela
    @simison
    but that was from user—>user, not user—>organisation
    ah ok
    nmccready
    @nmccready
    You can transfer from a user-> org and it is seemless, but only if the owner agrees
    Mikael Korpela
    @simison
    why wouldn’t he
    did the angular-ui dudes approach you guys or what’s exactly going on?
    nmccready
    @nmccready
    I tried with the other devs to explain this in our private slack as clear as possible
    Mikael Korpela
    @simison
    ah right, sorry I’m not there yet :-)
    nmccready
    @nmccready
    That he could fork from that transferral
    Mikael Korpela
    @simison
    I’ve got some spare minutes now so I’ll go ahead and find that invintation mail ...
    nmccready
    @nmccready
    but he does not want to play.. I do not really want to get into it; and really everything has been very PC and nothing negative is to be said. It is just his repo and this is how he wants to handle it.
