And part 2 of #702

By the way, I'm in UTC +0, so apologies if our timezones don't quite overlap.

Hi @tomchadwin. I can also look at the issues you mentioned. Or if you have new features you have in mind, I can also try to help there. Do you have a certain process for finding and fixing bugs that you want followed (i.e. making tests, reports, PRs, etc.)?
I'm UTC +8 and it's enrollment for graduate school for me this week so I may also message at odd hours.
Tom Chadwin
@tomchadwin
Fork and PR is definitely what I need. Your PRs will trigger the test suite (in /test) on Travis. So bugfixing will be less effort than new features. Of course, a bugfix would have huge extra impact if you also wrote a test to catch the original error (or whatever).
Not all code/features have tests (far from it). I also think that the coverage checker (Coveralls) no longer works.

For fixes for issues which have not been raised on the GH repo, steps to reproduce would be great, so I can confirm the issue before merging in the fix.

@tomchadwin yeah I figured you are in a differe time zone. I am at UTC-6. I will look into those about XYZ tile bug fixes and get back

folks, I've release a new preliminary 3.8.0 version. This will add filter functionality for qgis2web webmaps if they use leaflet. this is a big step and I would love see your responses / evaluation results for this. It is pushed to the official qgis plugin repo as well as an experimental version and is waiting for approval.

Unfortunately the travis tests against "QGIS latest" still fail and I am (maybe Tom knows more now) quite confident, that this is not a problem of core qgis2web but more a qgis-related issues as newer qt versions are used in latest QGIS.
Tom Chadwin
@tomchadwin
I don't know more now, sadly. What I do know is that the current non-experimental qgis2web version works on QGIS 3.8 Win, so I don't know whether this problem occurs in use, or is only specific to the Travis setup.

It's #foss4guk sprint day, and I'm hoping to get some work done today. I'm not there in person, but am dialled in via https://meet.jit.si/foss4guk, so do feel free to join in.

What is your plan for today? I think we can put in a few hours on this and maybe some other time on other things e.g. QGIS docs; etlhelper.
Tom Chadwin
@tomchadwin
I'm both very flexible (so can work whenever), and also at the whim of four-year-old Barney.
So, qgis2web things:
    1. Fix Travis on master, as I think it's failing, and I couldn't get it to work.
John A Stevenson
@volcan01010
We have Tom and Jonathan.
That sounds good as I'd like to learn about Travis and CI
Tom Chadwin
@tomchadwin
OK, Travis.
I'll see if there's an issue open. Hang on.

I'm going to try to phone you. What's Jitsi? Can I just ring your mobile? I don't have the number. You can twitter DM it if you want.
Tom Chadwin
@tomchadwin
I posted it above.
Hang on.

Grand. I'm struggling at this end, I'm afraid. Barney desperate for some attention. Will do my best, but might not be very involved today. Apologies.
John A Stevenson
@volcan01010
That's fine. I know what that is like. We'll keep you updated here. We've found the error at least.

I'm heading off now. Tom will send you a pull request.
