I have a tamil PDF which has embedded font...I tried in many softwares but nothing gets converted to word....Even in worst case, got converted with many tricks, Still the converted word doesn't have unicode text or unable to convert the font to unicode...Unable to change the font to a different font or different unicode font....
The only way.....
The above process is very time consuming and cumbersome process.
Do we have anything or any software to Convert PDF to Unicode Word Document ???
If not, is something is possible as below
a. Support PDF file conversion to Text. Internally convert each page to image and get the contents in Text
b. Capture the formats, lines, spaces in PDF
c. Create a Word Document by applying the text with format
d. Option to download the Word Document
Does any other software does this???
I started conversation with fwolff about updating Translate House's Localization Guide. My idea is to at least tackle existent issues and PRs, but many more improvements could be made. The way I see, It would be awesome to have this guide as central point for some localization concepts and generic info on FOSS translation, plus point to also have more up-to-date info on other upstream projects (GNOME, KDE, etc.)
Any thoughts? Does anyone want to join in?
