@lukashanak navbar-fixed-top class is making your navigation bar float and have fixed position "over" to all elements inside your body. And it will also create open space behind it where those contents below will fill and moved-up. That is the reason why you can't see your <p> content.

lukashanak @lukashanak 11:19
@imarkdesigns Oh :DDDD... Thank's for help.. now it's working
I was searching and thinking for solution almost 20 minutes and I didn't know what's wrong.. Bad issue, thank you

those classes are bind to bootstrap javascript where the transition, animation effects part of the whole framework
@jordan-cheng i can see it is working now

Jordan Cheng @jordan-cheng 12:13
@imarkdesigns Hi Mark, the collapse button worked but the carousel didn't. I removed all the external CSS and JS, and added them back. Now I can't even see the navbar and carousel. Do you know the reason?
sorry for the stupid questions...

Mark Joseph Rivera @imarkdesigns 12:40
@jordan-cheng ok, i noticed that you have changed the Bootstrap version
bootstrap versions from "3.3.7" have difference over to "alpha" version including the "classes".
i think, you should use different class now here in your codings.

Jordan Cheng @jordan-cheng 12:43
@imarkdesigns Thanks Mark:grinning:
thank you for your patience!
happy codding

Mark Joseph Rivera @imarkdesigns 12:49
@lukashanak as i can see here, you can use padding to add more open-space on both sides, or you can declare width if you have another element inside then center it using margin: auto. These are just variations on how you will achieve that spacing.

lukashanak @lukashanak 13:47
@imarkdesigns thank you, it's ok now :smiley:

@jordan-cheng sir, please add the JS part file of the Bootstrap to your CodePen. Also include the jQuery library too...

Jordan Cheng @jordan-cheng 11:24
but i did not write JS and jQuery part yet

Mark Joseph Rivera @imarkdesigns 11:25
@jordan-cheng yes sir, i know. but those are part of the bootstrap transitions...
don’t forget the jQuery first then bootstrap.min.js

Jordan Cheng @jordan-cheng 11:26
@imarkdesigns I see...thanks:)

Mark Joseph Rivera @imarkdesigns 11:26
those classes are bind to bootstrap javascript where the transition, animation effects part of the whole framework

@imarkdesigns Thanks Mark:grinning:
thank you for your patience!
happy codding

Mark Joseph Rivera @imarkdesigns 12:44

Please, I have problem with .navbar-fixed-top class.. here is the code https://jsfiddle.net/lukashanak/t4nmf9ok/5/.. The <p> element is not see when I reduce tab size.. I need something like this https://codepen.io/freeCodeCamp/full/YqLyXB

.
You just can you tell me where I can find solution, don't have to write what's the solution.. I know, you don't have a lot of time

Navbar fixed gave me problems on ios
and the only way to solve it is dropping the fixed flag on ios devices everything else runs it fine
actually because of that im not using fixed ever again.

is the only way to override colors in bootstrap 4 to use Sass and the bootstrap sources? I see there is a customization file but that I'd need to figure out how to integrate Sass with my existing project. I'm trying to convert a bootstrap 3 theme i've been using over to bootstrap 4 and the person who wrote the theme overrode colors in the bootstrap-reset.css file. Even if I load a separate css file with !important, the !important in the bootstrap 4 css is overriding them. any advice on the least painful way to accomplish this?
