@milanvdmria remove form control class and there's another way where in the icon is inside the textbox which is usually the case for clearing out the input or showing the hidden password as the actual text

hmm
is that widget div wrapped in anything
it doesn't look like it has any bootstrap around it

@f1ux1uxday
Feb 22 2017 16:33 UTC

what I would do is start with like an empty html file with basic bootstrap and get it behaving how you want right
then start adding the elements one by one until you see which one causes it to get fucked
that should be pretty quick

yeah there's def some conflicting css all up in there

gotten things to work much better in a short time
on one page, the background image re-sizes with the window
zenradsyndicate.com/texts.html

and on one the background image's proportions respond differently when re-sizing

zenradsyndicate.com/podcast2.html

i need the second page to act like the first

nice UI, seems fast
but I want to click things that I can't click like the listing titles
or the company logo and see more info about the job or the company before I want to click 'apply'
in terms of my knee jerk reaction
Kyle W Pilkinton
@tadake
Feb 22 2017 20:59 UTC
thanks man. yeah the listing titles are only clickable if theres a website associated with the listing haha
UltimateSpecialAttack
@rcalderoni
Feb 22 2017 21:00 UTC
maybe make the title of the job clickable and take you to the same place as apply
and then the logo or company name under the job title clickable of there is a website
or, if I click the company name/logo take me to a page where it only shows listings from that company
and maybe some other info on the company including the website and such
Kyle W Pilkinton
@tadake
Feb 22 2017 21:01 UTC
I see. so I should change apply to learn more? thats a great idea to add links.
UltimateSpecialAttack
@rcalderoni
Feb 22 2017 21:01 UTC
it's OK if both take me to the same place
Apply isn't bad it's a little more actiony
but I def feel like I should be able to click the title of the listing to get to the listing
that's my 2 cents lol
better get back to work and not click too many job postings at work
hehe
Kyle W Pilkinton
@tadake
Feb 22 2017 21:03 UTC
yeah Ill fix that. swapping the job title with the company is a great idea haha
thanks man! @rcalderoni
UltimateSpecialAttack
@rcalderoni
Feb 22 2017 21:03 UTC
wait wait
don't swap the job title with the company
Kyle W Pilkinton
@tadake
Feb 22 2017 21:04 UTC
I mean the links haha
UltimateSpecialAttack
@rcalderoni
Feb 22 2017 21:04 UTC
it looks good, just make it so the job title is clickable
and then think about maybe making a company profile page for each company that lists on the site
so clicking the little company name and/or logo takes you to that profile
Kyle W Pilkinton
@tadake
Feb 22 2017 21:05 UTC
