same for the this ungoogled binary compiled by github actions: https://github.com/Nifury/ungoogled-chromium-windows/releases/tag/102.0.5005.61-3.2
(future releases on the official platform repo will also use github actions)
I guess you could open an issue in https://github.com/macchrome/winchrome/issues to ask why their binary is different

Without the convenience of winget it's getting a bit too convoluted for me at the moment as i don't want to manually update. I'll temporarily jump ship to normal chromium i guess. Thanks a lot for your patience.

Is there a standard/accepted way to copy installed & configured extensions from one profile to another? I usually want the same base config when creating a new chromium profile.

another related question: how about moving search engines, I have 100+ search engines that were automatically added and I changed their shortcut to be well.. shorter than the default.

Search Engines are stored in a sqlite database called $Profile/Web Data in the keywords table
    what password manager extension?
keepassxc doesn't actually store anything in the extension and bitwarden only persistently stores an encrypted database iirc

Anyone try web.WhatsApp.com in chromium or UG?
Seems it only works on FF
On UG I tried many things and it doesn't read the QR code

Is there something in UG that signs out / clears data for incognito windows after some time? Windows that were never closed...

 Edit: Is there something in UG that signs out / clears data for incognito windows after some time? Windows that I never closed had all pages logged out.

Yes clearly it logs out after some time automatically if keeping an incognito window open
UG does this, chromium doesn't. Any idea if it is an option Eloston?

it is possible that those services have short session cookies, you can login and look at the expiry date on the session cookies.

it is hard to predict solutions
you've not given enough information to reproduce the bug
    1 reply
also you've not provided any information regarding "how long have you been logged in?"

It happens with all sites for me, like the cookies were cleared
And I don't see any config options like "auto clear cookies after some time"

I've never been logged in for more that 1 day in an incognito window
but I have almost certainly been logged in for a couple of hours and nothing wrong happened

Alright so you haven't actually tried to reproduce

So it isn't about how I haven't given enough details

I don't think you're using the inconito mode correctly, it is to use the browser without your history (and other stuff) getting recorded
you are better off with a another profile

I wonder if there is a way to get a diff of the chrome(ium) flags between different versions without needing to look at the source?
and maybe see the status, enabled/disabled or other arbitrary values
