[Brad Anthony] So @Jason you understand what I'm aiming for? Is this a relatively easy thing for a developer to set up?
[Jason Mule, Ushahidi] You want to create an separate app using the API?
[Jess Shorland, Ushahidi] @Vaibhav ^^ check out @jamiitech's question above :-)
[Brad Anthony] the app was just an idea as a stop gap until the official mobile app was operational
[Brad Anthony] But what I'm really concerned about is getting V3 installed and working as per our previous convo

[Jason Mule, Ushahidi] I see. Yes, a developer should be able to set this up.
[Jason Mule, Ushahidi] are you planning to have a developer set this up for you?
[Brad Anthony] I would like that; if I can find one. :-D

[Jason Mule, Ushahidi] so what's the the main thing you are looking at doing right now. Customizing the client?

[Brad Anthony] I'll do the front end customization on it; but I need the optimal setup as per previous discussions

[Jason Mule, Ushahidi] So at some point you need to build the client and the API -- you could optionally use the mock backend for client development.
[Brad Anthony] I don't really understand the new ecosystem of client and api and which handles what part of the workflow process; so that's part of the problem. :-)

[Jason Mule, Ushahidi] the API is the main thing :-) the client works by loading data through the end points and you can actually look at them as separate apps
[Jason Mule, Ushahidi] did you try to install after our convo yesterday?

@JamiiTech the Ushahidi Tracker is a visualisation tool meant to visualize reports from various Ushahidi deployments (v2). It's powered by CrisisNET API. You can read more about it here - www.ushahidi.com/blog/2015/10/06/ushahidi-tracker-visualising-reports-using-crisisnet-1
@JamiiTech ushahidi.com is the flagship product from Ushahidi. You can read more about the new version here http://www.ushahidi.com/blog/2015/09/30/ushahidi-re-imagines-the-crowdsourcing-service-that-started-it-all

[Brad Anthony] No, I'm not going to install it myself, as the documentation is over my head and I also don't know if it addresses how I want to establish controls for git or the organization of files.
