[Jason Mule, Ushahidi] @Robbie are application/logs, application/cache writable by default on heroku?

[Angela Oduor Lungati, Ushahidi] Random poll - what you guys think about the default basic post type provided by platform having the following:-

  1. Title - which we already have
  2. Description - which we already have
  3. Location - which we already have
  4. Date and time - missing
  5. Categories - missing

I would think there's a couple of things in there that a deployer may actually miss/forget to add in, but are essential.

What do you think?

[Angela Oduor Lungati, Ushahidi] @all ^^
[Angela Oduor Lungati, Ushahidi] not quite sure about the need for media by default - but we can get to that once that's built in
[Angela Oduor Lungati, Ushahidi] @Robbie - definitely agreed - it's misleading to offer languages we currently have unavailable :D

[Daudi Were, Ushahidi] @AngelaOduor Date and Time _ Category would be useful in default. what was the reason they were excluded?
[Daudi Were, Ushahidi] I think there was a reason why
[Angela Oduor Lungati, Ushahidi] Yeah, i think there might have been a reason as well - so i wanted to check in here first before logging an issue on github :D

[Jason Mule, Ushahidi] *s/writable/persisted -- I guess this doesn't happen

[Sophie Shepherd, Ushahidi] i like that idea @AngelaOduor! I'm with brandon now and our plan is to rethink this whole flow -- what a basic post would be and how steps get added (it's currently pretty confusing).

[Brandon Rosage, Ushahidi] @AngelaOduor I'm with you, too. A "Basic Post" that echoes v2's report structure makes sense. I'd like to include more sample Post Types with tiers that support more Post Types, too.

[Charlie Harding, Ushahidi] +1
[Charlie Harding, Ushahidi] I want the whole process of creating a post, viewing a post and sharing a post to be easier, enjoyable and powerful
[Nathaniel Manning, Ushahidi] +2
[Charlie Harding, Ushahidi] I want a version of posts that look like Twitter cards that can be shared around the internet, that are beautiful and attributed (where appropriate)
