[Durga Khattry] yes
[Durga Khattry] v3

[David Losada, Ushahidi] ok I think that would be the .env file, which should be located at the root of the cloned repo
[David Losada, Ushahidi] for example:
[David Losada, Ushahidi] /code DB_HOST=...
[Durga Khattry] ok
[Durga Khattry] so in that file DB credentials overwrite ?
Dec 10 2015 10:26
[David Losada, Ushahidi] that is the file where db credentials are looked for, you should edit it and set your credentials there
[David Losada, Ushahidi] as well as the database host and database name
[David Losada, Ushahidi] port is locked to 3306
[David Losada, Ushahidi] (the mysql standard port)

[Durga Khattry] so do we have any file weere we can see these values
[Durga Khattry] we forgot this and need to install on prod server
[David Losada, Ushahidi] well, you would need to adjust those values based on how you did your setup
[David Losada, Ushahidi] did you create a database?
Dec 10 2015 10:56
[Durga Khattry] yes we installed in dev server
[Durga Khattry] now want to do this for prod
[David Losada, Ushahidi] have you created a specific database for the prod deployment?
[Durga Khattry] no we need to copy old as we creaeted categories and post types there
[David Losada, Ushahidi] ok, you would need to do that first
Dec 10 2015 11:02
[David Losada, Ushahidi] while you do that.. you will need to take note of the name of the database you create, as well as the user and password that have access to that database
[David Losada, Ushahidi] and that is the information you put in the .env file I described above

Anybody got any documentation on how to set up the cron job for data providers? I've successfully installed the platform and client but I'm not getting any data coming in from Twitter.
Dec 10 2015 14:56
[Jason Mule, Ushahidi] Hi @Strainny Glad you got the platform working. Sorry about the lack of documentation. You can get data providers working by configuring bin/ushahidi dataprovider incoming as a cron job
[Jason Mule, Ushahidi] e.g. */5 * * * * /var/www/platform/bin/ushahidi dataprovider incoming
[Jason Mule, Ushahidi] assuming the full path of your install is /var/www/platform
