[David Losada, Ushahidi] Hi, what is the URL where you get that error?
[annaliza.mayor] That is the api installed in my localhost. That is the json output

[David Losada, Ushahidi] it looks like we don’t usually have installations of client on folders other than the webroot. Can you edit index.html and change <base href=”/”> to <base href=”/platform-client/”>?
[annaliza.mayor] Ok I will edit the filename
[annaliza.mayor] done
[David Losada, Ushahidi] ah no.. I meant edit the contents of the file
[David Losada, Ushahidi] the file should still be named index.html
[annaliza.mayor] oh sorry
[David Losada, Ushahidi] there is a line inside there with a <base> tag , you should change that one like I showed
[annaliza.mayor] Ok

[annaliza.mayor] Sorry, you meant the index.html inside the platform-client?
[annaliza.mayor] I checked the codes and found no "index.html" inside the index.html

[David Losada, Ushahidi] inside index.html there should be a line that reads like this:
[annaliza.mayor] Hi its working now
[annaliza.mayor] Oh sorry
[David Losada, Ushahidi] ah ok great :)
[annaliza.mayor] continue sending the line please
[David Losada, Ushahidi] i was just putting the same as above in other words
[David Losada, Ushahidi] ah ok.. you moved it to the webroot, I see
[annaliza.mayor] Yes
[annaliza.mayor] Then it worked
[annaliza.mayor] it also worked
[David Losada, Ushahidi] well yea, because now its taking the other files from the webroot
[annaliza.mayor] Oh I see
[annaliza.mayor] Thank you very much David Losada
[annaliza.mayor] God Bless you
[David Losada, Ushahidi] thanks, glad I could help!
[annaliza.mayor] By the way, Do I need to set up my api from another domain?
[annaliza.mayor] or I can also upload it here in the same domain?
[annaliza.mayor] cause right now its in my localhost
[David Losada, Ushahidi] the api should work under a folder inside the domain , i.e. “platform"
[David Losada, Ushahidi] we have tested that
[annaliza.mayor] Ok I will upload that

[annaliza.mayor] I uploaded the backend where my client platform reside but I see this error "Sorry, something went wrong. Try reloading the Page"
[David Losada, Ushahidi] I see the problem. In config.js , you would need to set backendUrl to just “"
[annaliza.mayor] Oh
[annaliza.mayor] Ok I will do that

[annaliza.mayor] Thank you so much
[David Losada, Ushahidi] another problem that you have there: you will also need to have the .htaccess file in the webroot for the client.. it’s usually a matter of renaming the file rewrite.htaccess that we provide to .htaccess
[David Losada, Ushahidi] you are welcome :)
[annaliza.mayor] Oh I see. Thank you so much
