[Robbie Mackay, Ushahidi] 1. SMSSync will simply post the received messages to your server (or whatever URL you configure). You would have to parse the status/category/etc into a post yourself.
  1. SMSSync just uses the SMS services available on the phone, so usually standard SMS charges apply, both for you and the people posting SMS. If you need anything different then you'll have to negotiate with your mobile provider
  2. Same as 2.
  3. SMSSync doesn't really care what your server runs, as long as it handles the HTTP POST requests that SMSSync sends to it

[Vaibhaw (Bob) Poddar] Can someone please share a working example of smssync in PHP?
[Vaibhaw (Bob) Poddar] I am writing a new software and can't get it to work and can't figure out what the error is. It says the URL is valid but does not pull the messages to be sent out.

[Robbie Mackay, Ushahidi] http://smssync.ushahidi.com/developers/ <- the developer docs cover this pretty well
[Robbie Mackay, Ushahidi] You may need to double check that tasks are enabled on the mobile app
