Test instance on Ubuntu according to install docs was successful.
Test instance on CentOS found some roadblocks; which don't seem to be coming from CentOS specifically. We have it now running on CentOS7 (for security purposes) in a vagrant box and it seems to be working in a dev environment and today we'll push it out to the live site to see if anything breaks. More specifics from our developers later today. Then we'll start working on the security issues identified over the last few weeks.

[Angela Oduor Lungati, Ushahidi] Awesome sauce. Keep us updated? we're on standby :)
[Brad] Absolutely, I'll add updates to the issues in Git as we proceed as well.

[Angela Oduor Lungati, Ushahidi] Great ;)..

[Angela Oduor Lungati, Ushahidi] Jose Antonio Prado, I filed an issue for the CSV export issue you're facing here: ushahidi/platform#2838

I can confirm there's an issue. This isn't the expected behaviour. Thanks for flagging it for us.

@aoduor or @rjmackay just a quick tip needed here regarding the pattern library. I’m trying to work out the best way to make style changes that can be applied to any instance - whether or not I need to clone and customise the pattern-library repo, and if so, how to point an instance to use the customised pattern library instead of the default one. Maybe there's something we're missing...
Or anyone for that matter. ;-)

[Romina Suarez, Ushahidi] Hey . @INTJ_Ape_twitter

whether or not I need to clone and customise the pattern-library repo
Yep. That’s the best way really.
how to point an instance to use the customised pattern library instead of the default one
In composer.json, you would have to change “ushahidi-platform-pattern-library”: “v3.7.2-rc.24"
to be something like “ushahidi-platform-pattern-library”: “github:username/repo_name”,
Like the convention detailed here https://docs.npmjs.com/files/package.json#git-urls-as-dependencies

tagging @anna too, in case she wants to add something here

[Anna Iosif, Ushahidi] @@INTJ_Ape_twitter If you want to use your own pattern-library, you also, after installing it as @romina described above, need to go in manually to node_modules/ushahidi_pattern_library and do npm install for it to work correctly

Hi everyone, when I try to install the platform pattern library locally and run it, I see exactly the same as this page: http://github.ushahidi.org/platform-pattern-library/
seems the CSS isn't being applied
looks like it's an issue with MIME types - does anyone know how to solve this?
