hi @ushbot {Robbie]: it seems to be a network specific issue. On a different WiFi network things seem to work fine (yesterday evening when I got home). This morning (the same network as yesterday) things weren't working again. With VPN the problem is also non-existant, so I'll have to investigate further what exactly is being blocked on the local network.

[Robbie Mackay, Ushahidi] Thats really interesting. Is it possible that something in your network blocks the Authorization header?
Although if the API runs over https it shouldn't really be possible to tamper with that in flight.

I'm gonna check that in a moment.
Also, I'm not running them on https, so there might be a cause there as well
I'll try to test both scenario's
It also seems to happen for specfic actions, i.e. adding field results in the error, but adding category does not
