[Angela Oduor Lungati, Ushahidi] Hey everyone here! Hope you're all well.
In the past few weeks, we’ve received some useful feedback from our open source contributors following the release of our 2018 Survey.
Some insights include the need for improved documentation, easier installation steps and increased support from our development team.
We’re extending the window period for gathering feedback to November 9th, 2018. If you haven’t, please take a couple of minutes of your time to share your feedback with us.
The feedback you give us in this survey will directly support other projects around the world like yours. We take great pride and care in learning from your experiences to support and improve. Thank you for actively helping the global OS community grow stronger.
Let us know if you have any questions!
[Romina Suarez, Ushahidi] Hi qovnika. Thanks for reaching out.
We have no plans to open source the mobile app for the foreseeable future because the mobile app is key value added service helping Ushahidi to support the continued improvement of our platform. If you need a custom version of the mobile app, our team is ready and able to help you white-label it https://www.ushahidi.com/enterprise-partnerships
In addition, all .io applications automatically appear in the Ushahidi app, and all OSS deployments can be manually added to the Ushahidi app, which is free for users.
