OD looks good! Any chance you could publish it on Docker hub as well?
This could probably be a good starting point: https://hub.docker.com/r/netmarkjp/openduty/~/dockerfile/
Albert Taylor
@ALTaylor
Hello. Is OD still in development?

Hi
Just had stome time finally to check the things here

Hey all! I am trying to get Openduty setup. I've run into an issue though, and before I start digging into it can I ask - is this written for Python3 or Python2?
TunaSnax
@TunaSnax
Looks like it's starting to work in Python2. Issue now is kombu. The latest version (4.0.0) removed OrderedDict. I am using 3.0.37, which is working.
Csergő Bálint
@deathowl
isnt it frozen in the requirements.txt
it should be
luto
@luto
@deathowl there are two open PRs freezing the version of kombu, which provides OrderedDict.

Has anyone else had problems with the twilio call feature returning 403 errors when debugging is set to false?
Andy Kruta
@krutaw
Ignore that question, apparently my network guys thought it would be a great idea to block the inbound internet access to my OpenDuty server. /sigh

@here Hi All, I encountered an error while running "python manage.py syncdb" under the commands listed in 'getting started'
the error says "django.db.utils.OperationalError: (2003, "Can't connect to MySQL server on '127.0.0.1' (111)")"

@here - I am new to OpenDuty and trying to understand the app by hosting it in one of the AWS EC2 instances. Can someone confirm if I can integrate AWS cloudwatch alarms to notify team using OpenDuty
I would like to know if there are any documents on how to send incidents from various apps like Splunk or AWS Cloudwatch to OpenDuty
gu3sss
@gu3sss
@here Hello Folks, I understand that we can create new incidents in OpenDuty based on api/create_event calls. I don't see an email integration option like in PagerDuty to create new incidents upon receipt of email to specific email ids. Has anyone managed to integrate this feature in OpenDuty?
Richard Bocchinfuso
@rbocchinfuso
Note sure why but I am getting a 403 error when trying to create an event via the API. Here is a screenshot of the create: image.png
Here is the 403 error: image.png Any ideas?

@tbsoares
Hey guys! I just installed the pdagent and pdagent-integrations packages on my Zabbix Server (already did the setup os group/user/action with the integration key of my application). How do I setup this to point to my Openduty installation?

@AlessioMartorelli
Hi everyone! I was trying to connect my TICK stack (Telegraf, Influxdb, Chronograf, Kapacitor) with Openduty. It says that it has a pagerduty-like API but I can't get it to work
Seems like the API URI I should use is https://events.pagerduty.com/generic/2010-04-15/create_event.json for pagerduty, what does it correspond to in OpenDuty?

@AlessioMartorelli
Thanks @gu3sss I'll give it a try and let you know! Hopefully it'll work. The integration between these two products should be amazing and Openduty is probably the best PD alternative I've seen so far
AlessioMartorelli
@AlessioMartorelli
it works! thanks a lot :)

@here Has anyone managed to integrate user permissions on the OpenDuty UI? Seems like the permissions model has been setup in the Db.. but the corresponding hooks in the code to make use of it is missing
AlessioMartorelli
@AlessioMartorelli
do you have to do anything specific in order to enable notifications? When I run "test notifications" nothing happens out of the 3 notification systems I've set up (twilio calls, slack, email). I've also set up Debug mode but can't find anything useful: https://pastebin.com/kHHpZ406
@gu3sss I've noticed other things are missing from the UI, for instance I couldn't see how to set up recurring rotas
AlessioMartorelli
@AlessioMartorelli
note that the settings.py file contains the config and the users have the fields populated with the phone number, email and slack channel
AlessioMartorelli
@AlessioMartorelli
just to let anyone having the same problem as me know: I had to start celery manually as stated in the README.md file. I thought it wasn't actually needed to send events but it is. So just run celery openduty worker -l info and notifications will be sent

We are now resuming development for the openduty app
and it was taken to python3 and django 2
however the Ustream team has been officially dissolved for a while
we created a specific openduty team for the openduty app

@sysrex
the mobile app is in the works
