another issue - If I delete tickets, also from Thrash, attachements, e.g. sshots etc are still in folders - expected behaviour is to have them removed... any idea how to resolve this?

You need to setup your mailbox if you want to convert emails into tickets.
Please share problem or error you are facing while converting the emails.

Have you checked the site_url on config->packages->uvdesk.yaml? What you have there? You should remove '' also the port and have the domain without http or https before

What version of PHP are you using? Where you downloaded UvDesk?
Maybe a screenshot of the error can be useful or also the URL where you have the issue.
From this logs I'm unable to give suggestions as I have no idea.

Can anyone tell if I can install uvdesk on shared hosting. I am using hostinger and it does not allow to modify the apache config or to install system modules

@amitsin6h imap or mailpares extension requires for uvdesk, without these you can't install uvdesk on webserver, Kindly ask your hosting provider to allow for both of the extension.

It may be due to .env file of your project have no read/write permission.
you need to enable it first by chmod -R 775 ./pathupto.env file.
Or
maximum-execution-time in your php.ini file is less you need to increase it before setup and finally restart your server and make a try.

Hi, anyone having issues with the install process? I fill all the credentials while setting the database but it throws a redisexception
I've tested that credentials are all working from the webserver to the mysqlserver. Could it be related to a app_env not being passed correctly from nginx?

I had some issue and on my case solved try and retry again. I'm with Apache so is not nginx you have. Be sure passwords never have special characters as this cause issues sometimes. So I reintalled everything, made sure my password contains only using alpha numeric values. Made the changes to the files and folders but still the same redisexception. I don't even understand why Redis is involved in the installation process

Maybe you need some help from the uvdesk team. Hope they can reply you soon. I think I installed UVdesk by FTP. I don't remember, maybe. Don't know about redis

I got it through the process by skipping that condition in /ORM/ToolsSetup.php:185. I think there's a bug when Predis is enabled but redis server is not 127.0.0.1

Generally "Connection refused" error comes only when your credentials (connection port also) is not correct.

Ok so it worked by bypassing the condition on line 185 on installing redis on web server. So there's definitely something going on with redis being activated but not on localhost. But I'm now setup. Thanks for your help!

I'm having trouble with the reset password link not sending an email. This is a new install. Agents did not receive their initial welcome email to sign in. They are using the "Forgot Password" link, but no email messages are being sent. How do we configure that? Thanks, in advance.

@mdabney918 Your swift mailer(responsible for sending emails) should be setup before performing any email action and it should work.

@papnoisanjeev My swiftmailer is working for tickets. Notifications of ticket creation and replies to those tickets are being received. However, no welcome messages or messages from using the "forgot password" link are being sent.

I'm getting this message when trying to run the web base installer:
Try putting index.php after your helpdesk installation's site url or If you are using apache, make sure that mode_rewrite module is enabled and AllowOverride directive for document root is set to All/FileInfo in your server's configuration file.

Your .htaccess file is not working so that requests are not going through index.php file under public folder. So it is asking you to put /index.php after public in URL

IMAP and Mailparse is already installed here.
You just need to enable it from php.ini file by just uncommenting line for extension.
