Ahmad K. Bawaneh
@vegegoku
@all please try now
Manuel Carrasco Moñino
@manolo
mvn package in client side compiles but apparently the produced war does not have any index.html to run the app, I guess the multi module setup for this project does not make very sense.
mvn package in root also produces a not working .war since it needs the Greeting service
Ahmad K. Bawaneh
@vegegoku
I was running using tbroyer commands ..i will fix the web.xml
Ahmad K. Bawaneh
@vegegoku
uploaded the new web.xml and removed the servlet, i deployed the war to tomcat and worked
@manolo Testing with a fresh project created using tbroyer archetype running mvn package on the client will also produce a war without the index page, it seems it must be built from the root pm
how can i deploy the application to github as a site?
remarkNS
@remarkNS
@vegegoku It's ok now, It compiles, builds war, application runs on tomcat. Great job !
Ahmad K. Bawaneh
@vegegoku
Thank you

here is a link for the running sample on github

@vegegoku
i fixed issue where only one selected item will be removed when click clear done
remarkNS
@remarkNS
hmmm it works great on desktop, but a bit strange on mobile. Try adding 1 than 2, 3... sometimes it adds todo sometimes it doesn't ? I am using link from github, did you try it on real mobile device ?
Ahmad K. Bawaneh
@vegegoku
Not really i will do now
remarkNS
@remarkNS
I can not see any pattern but sometimes it adds todo, sometimes it does not
Ahmad K. Bawaneh
@vegegoku
It happened only on my first attempt, then it worked correctly
I have no idea why this is happening
remarkNS
@remarkNS
try more times
Ahmad K. Bawaneh
@vegegoku
Ilm try again
remarkNS
@remarkNS
sometimes 2 or 3 are ok, then 4 not
strange
Ahmad K. Bawaneh
@vegegoku
Yes it happens, the whole click event on the ok button is not firing, and the fielda are not cleared
I will try to debug that
I wonder if this issue also exist for the uibinder based version
remarkNS
@remarkNS
Ahmad K. Bawaneh
@vegegoku
i will debug it on he elemento version
and it has the clear done issue too
so it does not matter if it's widget or element version
Ahmad K. Bawaneh
@vegegoku
It might be a polymer issue
remarkNS
@remarkNS
maybe @manolo will have an idea what could be wrong
Ahmad K. Bawaneh
@vegegoku
the click event listener is not being fired
this is a very wierd behaviour
remarkNS
@remarkNS
only on mobile ?
Ahmad K. Bawaneh
@vegegoku
yes
remarkNS
@remarkNS
strange
I tried to find original polymer todo app but with no luck, there is one but it does not work at all
Ahmad K. Bawaneh
@vegegoku
i dont think there is one
remarkNS
@remarkNS
Not exactly the same but similar: https://polymer-todo.firebaseapp.com/
that was with polymer 1: https://github.com/PolymerLabs/todo-list
Vaadin guys are working a lot with polymer, hopefully they will have some idea why this does not work on mobile.
Ahmad K. Bawaneh
@vegegoku
we better wait for @manolo and see if he has any idea
remarkNS
@remarkNS
yes you are right, I am not sure that anyone else from Vaadin would replay on this chat room
Ahmad K. Bawaneh
@vegegoku
@remarkNS i think i found something interesting
if when you tap on the button and hold for longer time the event is never get fired
so i think its something related to the mapping from click event on desktop to tap event on the mobile
while trying manythings, it seems related to where and how you touch the button
Manuel Carrasco Moñino
@manolo
@vegegoku Probably changing click event by tap event might work
Manuel Carrasco Moñino
@manolo
Yep that is, fixed in my tutorials manolo/gwt-polymer-todo-list@b1e3e24
Ahmad K. Bawaneh
@vegegoku
:+1:
remarkNS
@remarkNS
Great !
Ahmad K. Bawaneh
@vegegoku
I faced the same issue with the clear all and clear done and fixed the same way, changed the click to tap
