Vaadin guys are working a lot with polymer, hopefully they will have some idea why this does not work on mobile.
Ahmad K. Bawaneh
@vegegoku
we better wait for @manolo and see if he has any idea
remarkNS
@remarkNS
yes you are right, I am not sure that anyone else from Vaadin would replay on this chat room
Ahmad K. Bawaneh
@vegegoku
@remarkNS i think i found something interesting
if when you tap on the button and hold for longer time the event is never get fired
so i think its something related to the mapping from click event on desktop to tap event on the mobile
while trying manythings, it seems related to where and how you touch the button
Manuel Carrasco Moñino
@manolo
@vegegoku Probably changing click event by tap event might work
Manuel Carrasco Moñino
@manolo
Yep that is, fixed in my tutorials manolo/gwt-polymer-todo-list@b1e3e24

@masterdany88 this is 2 months old (Errai tutorial with GWT 2.8.1 and Elemental2): errai/errai-tutorial@ece998a . Hope it helps this time.
Ahmad K. Bawaneh
@vegegoku
this can tutorial can make use of the vaadin-gwt-polymer-elements to replace those manually written JsInterop paper components
i will try to make a PR when i have time
Ahmad K. Bawaneh
@vegegoku
@manolo what happened to the PaperDrawerPanelElement? it cant be found in the latest snapshot of the vaadin-gwt-polymer-elements.!!!
PaperHeader is the same story
Manuel Carrasco Moñino
@manolo
Will take a look
Ahmad K. Bawaneh
@vegegoku
i think becuse of the change in the version they now are not generated

@manolo
@vegegoku paper-drawer elements were replaced by app-drawer here you have an example of usage, so using latest component collections means that those have been removed from the bundles
Ahmad K. Bawaneh
@vegegoku
Thank you very much i was struggling to make it work with the new components
i will update my sample to use the new ones

Hi, in latest snapshot the 1.9.4.0-SNAPSHOT i am trying to built an application layout like the one you sent to me in the link

https://github.com/manolo/gwt-pwa-template/blob/master/src/main/java/com/vaadin/polymer/demo/client/Shell.ui.xml

i the layout is not loading correctly and i still have some missing elements

Screenshot from 2017-10-15 15-19-14.png
also the paper-menu component used here is missing from the jar
<p:PaperMenu ui:field="menu">
            <p:PaperItem>User List</p:PaperItem>
            <p:PaperItem>Videos</p:PaperItem>
            <p:PaperItem>Todos</p:PaperItem>
          </p:PaperMenu>

Hi, I am stuck on Adding Bindings to dynamically added elements and need help and suggestions on it. I have succeeded on dynamically fetching elements but kinda stuck with bindings. Would be great if people could share their thoughts and experience with it.

Hi, i'm trying Vaadin flow and PolymerTemplate Model. I'd like to call a web component js function from java. How can i do it?
Web component
<dom-module id="foo-bar">
  <template>...</template>
  <script>
    class FooBar extends Polymer.Element {
       ...
       foo() { ... }
    }
  </script>
@Tag...
@HtmlImport...
public class Bar extends PolymerTemplate<Bar.Model> {
    public Bar() {
      this.getModel().foo();
    }
    public static interface Model extends TemplateModel {
        void foo();
    }
}
Alex Tomasello
@tomasell
I've tried with @ClientDelegate annotation on foo() method in my interface, but it doesn't work.
Alex Tomasello
@tomasell
Resolve with this.getElement().callFunction("foo");

Hi , I want to use buttons for month/year navigation instead of infinite scrolling . Can somebody help me with that. I am using Vaadin date picker with polymer 2.0
Sudipt Roy
@sudipta1411
is there any tree view available in polymer?
Manuel Carrasco Moñino
@manolo
@vegegoku I updated gwt-polymer-elements to use polymer 1.11.3, and elemental2-rc1 you can use 1.11.3-SNAPSHOT
Ahmad K. Bawaneh
@vegegoku
@manolo Thank you so much
is there any releasing guid i can use to learn how i can release and update in the future
i am willing to help with this part
Manuel Carrasco Moñino
@manolo
No guide, I’ll update README when I have an easy procedure
Ahmad K. Bawaneh

@manolo are there plans to migrate the generator to polymer2?
Manuel Carrasco Moñino
@manolo
last time I tried to migrate hydrolysis to analyzer it didn’t gave type info, I’ll take a look, I guess it was added some while ago.
Nándor Előd Fekete
@nfekete
flow is already based on polymer 2, right?
that would mean there's usable type info that can be extracted from the polymer2 analyzer, if I'm not mistaken
I tried to do the port a while ago, but I had to realize I suck at JS, and I hadn't had too much time so I kinda gave up on it
Manuel Carrasco Moñino
@manolo
yes flow is based on it, that is the reason why I suspect type was added. Flow though uses a different generator for their components, and iirc at the beginning they were parsing directly info from js-doc comments when that info was not in the analysis output
Manuel Carrasco Moñino
@manolo
Checked and the issue does not happen: Polymer/polymer-analyzer#305 thus will try to continue my work on migration
Nándor Előd Fekete
@nfekete
haha, I totally forgot about that issue :+1:

Turning nuts soon. Trying to get rid of the blue navigation-border around cells in vaadin-grid (4.1.6). Is there some way to do this ? I tried using the [interacting] and [navigating] selectors in different ways to style. But unsuccessful so far
Maybe you can turn of cell navigation completely ?
oh. Sorry. This must be the wrong room for this question. There is one for webcomponents. Sorry. Never mind.
