To ease enterprise integrations in the CRM world, would the vechain team be able to build a salesforce custom control to leverage drag and drop components, integrate blockchain usability with multiparty payments, smart contract templated deployments for proper interfacing allowing upgrades, with fiat billing conversions and dollar amount thresholds worked in? Not asking for much am i? :D
This would help alot of b2b, b2c not handle wallets but still get their data on chain in tools they use currently. Could be wishful thinking out loud here but seems like that could be achieved? What are your thoughts

I am using thorify to develop a webapp. Now when I call contractmethods (ex. contract.methods.getDataById(dataId).call() ) It returns empty object/string.
What is the problem? Can anyone help? Thanks.
Bradley Suira
@bradleySuira
@abirhasanmubin method call is async, check if you are using await, then, whats is the type or return in the contract? also confirm if you receive an object or a string, if you can, please provide an example or gist with your Dapp code and the method in the contract
Abir Hasan Mubin
@abirhasanmubin
@bradleySuira The contract is contract.sol
The Dapp code is thor.js
And the output is string.

I have copied the abi from remix
And I cannot goto VIDE in sync

Hi @bradleySuira I am not familiar with the wallet SDKs, could you open an issue in the repo?

Hi @abirhasanmubin I can not test all the code but I m thinking that the return as an empty string is maybe related to the id that you send maybe is not in the mapping timeToData

function getDataId(string memory _time) public view returns (uint256){ return timeToData[_time]; }

Bradley Suira
@bradleySuira
function getData(uint256 _dataId) public view returns(uint256[] memory){
return dataList[_dataId];
}

can you please try to access to the dataList directly just to test ? or maybe if you are using remix you can try to access to the data and validate if you can get values.

Hope thats helps

@abirhasanmubin
@bradleySuira The problem has been resolved after using public testnet node instead of using my bin/thor tesnet node
I have developed this following app with thorify. After executing the following error occurred. What is the problem can any one point it out? I am stuck here.

OMG vechain... Any idea what you guys did? The YouTube channel that you hacked and advertised is the channel of the number one entertainment company in South Korea. The complaint is being prepared and a national response is also being prepared. This is fucked. I wanna get out of here
bsc44
@bsc44
VeChain didn't hack anything. Hackers steal popular YouTube channels, then upload old VeChain livestreams so that they look new and run scam giveaways events. VeChain has nothing to do with these.

Hello everyone, I am currently getting my feet wet with development in the vechain-ecosystem and put up a service for transaction sponsoring as first test project at https://vechain.energy … I would like to use the Sync Browser for identification too but wonder how I can verify a user on the backend part, while its easy and good documented on the web part, I am not sure on how to verify it on a backend. Any hints on what to read or examples?

hey folks, just wanna check what's the most recommended way to deploy contracts using js. Is it thorify or ethers as found over here https://www.npmjs.com/package/@vechain/ethers ?
what's the difference between using thorify vs ethers?
