    I see the CLI as a --cwd argument, however it's seems specifying that does nothing? Will scour my config and see what I've done wrong
    Andrew Cobby
    @cobbweb
    Hmm, nvim . sets the cwd correctly
    Andrew Cobby
    @cobbweb
    I see there's not much going on in here, I've raised an issue: qvacua/vimr#469
    Tae Won Ha
    @qvacua
    @cobbweb I’ve been in vacation last few days, usually I’m always online in this channel :)
    Andrew Cobby
    @cobbweb
    Haha all good, tmux has coaxed me back to terminal vim for the moment
    Tae Won Ha
    @qvacua
    yeah, tmux + (neo)vim is very handy :)
    NathHorrigan
    @NathHorrigan
    What theme is the one used in the documentation?
    Robert Günzler
    @robertgzr
    @NathHorrigan I think that is Solarized Light
    Robert Günzler
    @robertgzr
    btw hi. Vimr should color my title bar according to my colorscheme since v0.17.0 right, or is there a pref switch for that somewhere?
    Tae Won Ha
    @qvacua
    @robertgzr there’s an option under Appearance to not to use the selected colorscheme
    Robert Günzler
    @robertgzr
    Yeah it works for the filebrowser but the title bar stays the same
    and under preferences > appearance it says If checked, the colors of the selected colorscheme will be
used to render tools, e.g. the file browser.
    Tae Won Ha
    @qvacua
    oh, ok, that must be a bug then….

    @qvacua
    i’ll look into it
    Robert Günzler
    @robertgzr
    I'll file an issue, anything you would like me to include?
    Tae Won Ha
    @qvacua
    nope :) (currently i’m very slow responding to things due to personal reasons, bear with me)
    Robert Günzler
    @robertgzr
    no worries. thanks for your work! I'm using Vimr to write my bachelors thesis. I'm normally more of a terminal person but for concentrated working nothing beats a gui (also alacritty doesn't do Ümlaute ;)
    Tae Won Ha
    @qvacua
    yeah those pesky special characters… :D
    usually in chats i write “ue” instead of “ü” because i’m using the US-layout, too lazy to do option-u, then u...
    wait a sec
    Robert Günzler
    @robertgzr
    Same here. unfortunately not an option for university stuff
    Tae Won Ha
    @qvacua
    @robertgzr if i uncheck the “use neovim’s colorscheme”, the title bar returns to normal as intended, or have i misunderstood you?
    Robert Günzler
    @robertgzr
    no if I toggle that option with the filebrowser open I can see it changing colors but the title bar just stays silver

    @vramana
    @qvacua Great project. :+1:
    Tae Won Ha
    @qvacua
    @vramana thanks! 😃

    Hey guys stupid question but what shortcut do I use to switch between tabs?
    Tae Won Ha
    @qvacua
    you can use the normal vim command gt and gT
    Alex Converse
    @aconverse
    Hey, is there a way to disable the double-clicking on a tab opens a new tab shortcut?
    Tae Won Ha
    @qvacua
    @aconverse hm.. not that i know of...
    since that's a general vim question you could also try the neovim channel :)

    @bsia
    Hey guys, any one adding emoji support ? (ctrl-cmd-spacebar)
    Tae Won Ha
    @qvacua
    @bsia doesn’t it work anymore? It used to work...
    Barry Sia
    @bsia
    I'm actually on v0.20.3. Let me try the latest version.
    Great project, btw!!!
    Tae Won Ha
    @qvacua
    Thx!
    Barry Sia
    @bsia
    Ok, on v0.21.1, if I press <ctrl-cmd-space>, it just pastes whatever was inserted the last time. And the emoji dialog doesn't show up.
    However, if I manually select from the menu drop-down "Emoji & Symbols", it works as expected
    Tae Won Ha
    @qvacua
    i tested it now: it broke from (bundle) version 217 to 218 with GH-492... Could you please create an issue?
    Tae Won Ha
    @qvacua
    fyi: #626
    Barry Sia
    @bsia
    @qvacua It's fixed in your snapshot. Thanks!
    Tate Johnson
    @tatey
    Hello. Is it possible to default opening files in a new window from the CLI? So if I go vimr foo it's the equivalent of vimr -s foo. Was hoping there's a config I can set or something.
    Tae Won Ha
    @qvacua
    @tatey you could use alias for that (there are no preferences set for the command line tool...)
    Tate Johnson
    @tatey
    An alias is a great idea. Thanks @qvacua

    Hi there
    Guys, what's wrong with cyrillic symbols in vimr?
