    great!
    tyrdal
    @tyrdal
    How do I get a list of currently set breakpoints?
    Ben Jackson
    @puremourning
    :call vimspector#ListBreakpoints()
    tyrdal
    @tyrdal
    Ah that was too obvious. Thank you.
    Ben Jackson
    @puremourning
    i don't think it's documented (as it's a bit crappy)
    there's a backlog item for a breakpoints 'window'

    Hi I would like to set a key for nnoremap <C-W> :call vimspector#Watch()<CR>
    how can I do that
    so it will get the variable under the cursor
    Ben Jackson
    @puremourning
    well, who am i to tell you what to do, but remapping ctrl-w is like killing some of the most useful commands
    but i mean... nnoremap silent <C-w> :VimspectorWatch <cword>
    :help <cword>
    Izhak Jakov
    @izhakjakov
    actually I am going to use F19
    but that was just an example
    most ppl don't have F19 on their keyboard lol
    Ben Jackson
    @puremourning
    i don't think there's a vimspector#Watch function
    F19 is like shift-Fsomething right ?
    or ctrl? i never remember
    Real F19 key
    I got this keyboard from work
    Ben Jackson
    @puremourning
    hmmm
    Izhak Jakov
    @izhakjakov
    It is useful for VIM
    Ben Jackson
    @puremourning
    those keys are so far away though!
    i like how that apple keyboard has 19 f keys and the one on my macbook has....0
    Izhak Jakov
    @izhakjakov
    Yea but I want use the watch so often so it's fine
    lol
    I hate the touch bar
    At least the new mac has the esc key back
    Ben Jackson
    @puremourning
    yeah, i think it was a good idea in priniciple, and i do like/use it for brightness, volume, etc.
    but mostly, it's just annoying not to have physical buttons there
    Izhak Jakov
    @izhakjakov

    but i mean... nnoremap silent <C-w> :VimspectorWatch <cword>

    Going to give this a shot

    yea I agree. I wish they'll bring the physical keys back or at least give an option to choose a laptop without a touchbar
    My personal computer is Linux so I want to find a keyboard with F19 that is not mac
    Izhak Jakov
    @izhakjakov
    It did not work but thanks
    Ben Jackson
    @puremourning
    It might need to be an expr mapping and use expand(‘<cword>’)
    I can’t test it right now, but I’m sure it’s possible. We use a similar thing for the ballon popup code
    Izhak Jakov
    @izhakjakov
    You don't need to it is a NeoVIM thing that I need to learn
    They have a gitter too I'll ask there
    Izhak Jakov
    @izhakjakov
    They are no help lol
    but noremap <F4> :call vimspector#AddWatch( expand('<cWORD>') )<CR> almost worked
    noremap <F4> :call vimspector#AddWatch( expand('<cword>') )<CR> works :)
    Thanks Ben!

    At least the new mac has the esc key back

    Why not capslock?

    Ben Jackson
    @puremourning
    who doesn't use capslock as escape at system level in macos
    for seriously
    capslock in that position is barbaric
    mark2185
    @mark2185
    Precisely, for those 2 times a year I'm gonna argue with someone on the internet, you bet I'll hold my shift THE ENTIRE SENTENCE, TO FURTHER PROVE MY POINT
    Ben Jackson
    @puremourning
    actually i just fused capslock on in the BIOS, so i hold shift to type like this. makes me freel good
