Hello, I also posted in the forum but might as well try this too. I'm following the instrustions to make the API send out notifications. I think this mechanic is broken. After issuing the command all I get in return is the confirmation that "No URLs defined for push notifications". Adding a URL gives the same reply. The volumio logfile shows: 2019-08-02T13:04:57.129Z - info: Getting Push Notification urls after this command: curl 192.168.178.23/api/v1/pushNotificationUrls?url=http://192.168.178.25/volumio. Any idea what I'm missing/ doing wrong?
I've noticed a lot of the newbie questions are about setting up that RaspPi., because they don't understand the method. Is there a official name for this method? Is it used elsewhere? It would be nice to point newbies to the official method. I'm talking about how, to set up a Volumio RaspPi, you NEVER EVER connect it to a keyboard/monitor/mouse. You turn it on, then from your MAIN COMPUTER you connect to a temporary open WiFi network created by the Volumio device, then connect with it that way and seamlessly do setup and give it the network name and password of your real WiFi network, finish setup, and you're off to the races. Is there an official name for this method? Was it inspired by some other system? Or was it invented for Volumio?
I feel this method/paradigm would be useful in more places than I've seen it used.
Does Volumio support replaygain?
Can nobody answer this?
this is not our official support forum (check volumio.org/forum), so whether someone can answer this depends on someone reading this and having the proper information. Devs are not here very often! Please refer to this post, consider the final answer to be "no, currently not". https://forum.volumio.org/replaygain-help-t6955.html
Hi there guys
@rayrrr I didn't get that. I'm looking for 'protecting volumio access', may you help me understanding how to put a password to limit the access, here too many people know the IP and are changing the radio.
@balbuze how to do that with volumio2? I'm also trying to password protect volumio (on 1 of the 3 PI that we have)
Peeps, How does one configure Bluetooth access for a Volumio Pi? is there a thread on the forums
hi guys, has anyone tried out the new volumio 3 beta interface?
becase i have enabled that but with my waveshare 7inch screen of the raspberry pi my left menu is cutted and not scrollable
with the pc is fine
@r3ziel In Volumio2, there is no way to do that... Don't know for the next version...
Hi there, I would like to build a Volumio "gear" but I'd like to have a 17 inches wide case possibily with a 3.5 inch OLED display upfront. Any suggestions?
there is a DIY section in the forum for these sort of projects and questions, which would probably give you more info than you will get here
thanks @gkkpch ... just if everyone have advices..
Hi, I just connected the RPi 7" display to the RPi running volumino. When I try to select an album using the three dots, a menu pops up from which I only see the lower part but not the "play" entry. What to do? At the iPad, the menu is shifted downwards so that I see all, but not on the RPi dispaly.
drop your question in the volumio development forum, gitter is not the best support channel for issues you seem to be suffering from
Hi. I just bought the Volumio box. Do I have to pay for every copy of the android software that I want to use with your hardware?
@kindsouls Do you mean Volumio Primo? Why would you install Android on it?
Has anyone had success with fixing Invalid Card Number or ALSA errors? I am not getting any help from the forums :(
I'm not able to use the SpotifyConnect plugin otherwise. Balbuze told me it's a Volumio problem, not the plugin.
@charminULTRA Yes, Primo. I'm looking to use the android app to control the primo.
So, not installing android on primo
Also, do I have to pay extra to integrate Tidal with my Volumio Primo?
@charminULTRA still here?
Can someone please assist me with connecting Tidal to my Volumio Primo?
@ashthespy I saw your response in the forum. Thank you! I'm going to boot up my Volumio tonight/tomorrow and go through the steps and grab a new log and I'll post it tomorrow. I will: 1) Boot up 2) Wait for it all to initialize and 3) Attempt to use SpotifyConnect and then pull the log.
@ashthespy I don't see anything in that link that shows how to redeem the lifetime superstar plan on the Primo...
@charminULTRA can you try booting/playing normal stuff, and then grabbing spotifyconnect specific logs - with sudo journalctl -u volspotconnect2.service
@ashthespy to clarify, I have the Primo working, but cannot find a way to redeem my lifetime superstar plan and link it to the Primo
