    Greg since there is now demand to bring back the Studio what about those sweet training videos you recorded. Where are they?
    Greg M
    @mccarvell
    I have them mostly on YouTube. I make a lot of money off the ads.

    @mccarvell what is the youtube channel that your using for those? or are they out of date?
    Eric Naujock
    @erlicthemad
    Of course the last video on wakanda is from 4 years ago.
    Greg M
    @mccarvell
    I posted my last video around the time I last used Wakanda. So yeah, 4 years seems about right.

    Announcement for the Wakanda Community version

    Hello,
    My name is Ricardo Mello and I have been with the community for the last +5 years in different roles. I am writing you today in the name of our team. We would like to thank you for your effort and contributions to our community BUT unfortunately, the Wakanda team will no longer be supporting the Wakanda Community version - starting at the next release (v2.7).

    Our main focus will be the Wakanda Enterprise Version and its paid customers. If you are a Wakanda Enterprise user, the v2.7 will be available for you before the end of February.

    Unfortunately, as you have witnessed along the years, we have failed to create an open source ecosystem, despite the effort done by the community. That is our reality and we have decided to focus only on the Enterprise version to better serve our clients.

    We will keep the community repository on GitHub and we will work with the community if any changes/commits/pushes are proposed.

    If you would like to move an application from the Community version to the Enterprise version, please contact me at ricardo.mello@wakanda.io and I will help you on the process of migration, licensing and support.

    Thank you again for supporting us,

    PS> You will also receive an official email about this announcement in the upcoming days.

    Ricardo the official email is nice, but I will need you to take me out for mexican food and tell me in person.

    @crowd-dave @mccarvell how about tomorrow ?
    Greg M
    @mccarvell
    @rmello4d If you are in Canada, maybe. I am overdue for a visit to the West coast anyhow. If you are in USA, I'll have to take a raincheck... passport is expired. I am also way overdue for a trip to California!

    @rmello4d It's been a slow and painful death. It must have been very hard for the team. It was a great vision but unfortunately overtaken by other developments. The road to success is littered with discarded failures. I loved Wakanda too and I am grateful to all the team for the journey we all went on together. It was a great ride.
    Chris Curnow
    @chriscurnow
    Oh, and one thing I forgot to say. If we are not prepared to fail, we can never succeed.
    Ricardo Mello
    @rmello4d
    @chriscurnow Chris, thank you, indeed it was hard to abandon the Community project. The Enterprise project is moving forward. We are soon releasing the 2.7 and already preparing the 2.8. We will keep you posted...
    Chris Curnow
    @chriscurnow
    @rmello4d That's good to hear. As a startup we cannot afford to go to the Enterprise version. We took the difficult decision some time ago to move over to Firebase. But I will continue to watch Wakanda with great interest. It was a big part of my life. I wish you all every success.

    I’m just wondering is any way to access 4D methods from wakanda. My 4D is using MySQL remote database, I’d like to access 4D method which connects to MySQL and does some calculations in 4D and I’d like to retrieve processed data in 4D methods to wakanda. Is that possible?
    Fuchssystems
    @Fuchssystems
    A 4D method called by wakanda can return a value, so it should be possible.
    https://doc.4d.com/4Dv17R4/4D/17-R4/Calling-4D-Tables-and-Methods.200-4118461.en.html
    Never tried the 4D connector, just read the 4D and wakanda documentations.
    Eric Naujock
    @erlicthemad
    @Fuchssystems actually if you can get the data into a 4D process then its easy. When you call the 4D function you just return the values from the database in the $0 value from 4D. that will then be passed as the return value to your Wakanda JS function. Working with 4D is not that difficult. Once you get the connector working right. I have a 67 part solution that I am running that coonects to my Backend 4D database. You may have to ake sure your return value is in JSON format.

    @rmello4d where can I download wakanda enterprise 2.7?
    Ronald Pfitzer
    @ronpfi
    Is this a rethorical question?
    Eric Naujock
    @erlicthemad
    I have not seen it posted yet on the 4d site either.
    You may need to open a ticket with support to get it.
    NAMSGithub
    @NAMSGithub
    @ronpfi no, he said it was available by end of February. I'd like to update.
    Fuchssystems
    @Fuchssystems

    does anyone know how to query using a date with Wakanda & 4D? I do something like the below to get records from the past 30 days and i get nothing. tried also querying by string 'TicketCloseDate > :1', '04/02/19' and also querying by ISOString, returning no results
    var date = new Date(); date.setDate(date.getDate() - 30); response.body = ds.TroubleTicket.query('TicketCloseDate > :1', date); return response;
    NAMSGithub
    @NAMSGithub
    the project easily has 100 different queries and apparently not once have I queried on a date field
    Vegar Ringdal
    @vegarringdal
    Maybe just date without any zero before number like '3/30/19' or '4/2/19' date u tried earlier
    @NAMSGithub
    Fuchssystems
    @Fuchssystems
    The last 30 days would be date.setDate(-30).
    NAMSGithub
    @NAMSGithub
    thanks @Fuchssystems i guess that was redundant of me
    @vegarringdal ds.TroubleTicket.query('TicketCloseDate > :1', '4/3/19'); debugger hangs and cant be closed
    NAMSGithub
    @NAMSGithub
    also why do I have to enter my email here to get the enterprise product? is there a direct link? https://wakanda.github.io/download.html#download-enterprise
    NAMSGithub
    @NAMSGithub
    sorry i'm just being fussy on that last one
    NAMSGithub
    @NAMSGithub
    also, i figured out the issue. there were no records within the last 30 days. that was an easy one. querying with javascript Date works just fine.
    Vegar Ringdal
    @vegarringdal

    :joy: well good you figured it out. I never though about asking you about that one...

    NAMSGithub
    @NAMSGithub
    @vegarringdal haha well one would think i had considered that first.
    NAMSGithub
    @NAMSGithub
    anyone know if Wakanda Enterprise 2.7 or any future versions will be released for Ubuntu?
    Fuchssystems
    @Fuchssystems
    wakanda.io website contents is redone.
    Wakanda server as a product not mentioned on the website (or I can not see it).
    Only advertising development services.
    End of story.
    Fuchssystems
    @Fuchssystems
    wakanda.org (redirects to github.wakanda.io) is unchanged and wakanda server is still advertised there.
    Confused wakanda.io with wakanda.org
