    @motoboy76 Yes you are correct, I'm sorry my previous message was mistaken, 2.1.2 is a forking change and you will not be able to sync if you don't update. Everyone should please use the update script @molin0000 just posted above.

    I follow the instructions

    Ur sending only 1 wan. Minimum is 10k or 50k for delgating node

    @rstormsf
    where do I get that much ?
    I'm from ztake.org we need to setup a node

    hello @molin0000 just want to check
    will the nodes be listed as offline if the block is not sync to current height?
    i monitor from logs seems like the blocks are being sync but on http://testnet.wanstats.io/ it is showing as offline

    hi,peter,I need to deploy a contract, it's gas is 4750000, but when I set up the gas more than 4600000, it would be an error: exceeds block gas limit. so what should I do

    @molin0000 can we use the beta Docker manual setup instructions for the mainnet? I prefer using Docker but want to manually set up the node.

    @peacezhu

    eth.getBlock("latest").gasLimit
    4712388

    the limit on wanchain is currently 4712388 so that won't be possible im afraid.. @molin0000 could you shed a light on this?
    can't you deploy your contract in smaller pieces? this seems like a huge amount of gas

    Why i try to rerun validator again it said cannot found a pw.txt (/root/.wanchain/pw.txt)?
    I have to create pw.txt in that path and found that pw.txt keep at /home/root << on server not on docker

    Thanks :)

    @molin0000
    You can restart your gwan docker by this script, it will create pw.txt. We have delete pw.txt after gwan startup for safe.
    wget https://raw.githubusercontent.com/wanchain/go-wanchain/develop/loadScript/restartValidator.sh && chmod +x restartValidator.sh && ./restartValidator.sh
    @rstormsf Your staking value is too low.
    @rstormsf Do you want to deploy a testnet validator or mainnet?
    If testnet, you should get some test wan coins. if mainnet, just use real wan token :)

    Peter van Mourik
    @tyrion70
    there is a seperate instructions for manual setup @szeldavid
    or you could use the contents of the validator scripts to extract the steps on docker to do it manually
    Mo Lin
    @molin0000
    yes, Peter says is good.
    szeldavid
    @szeldavid
    yes, the manual instructions is without docker. I checked the script it seems to be the same steps, just wanted to confirm if I missed something.

    Yes, you can use it. But need to check contract address is 0x00000….00DA.

    The contract address is very important need to check again and again for manully operate.

    hello I'm using a macOS server to run my validator. There is no script to set up on macos so I want to manually set it up on mainnet using Docker. Perhaps you could include manual steps with Docker in the guide when you release it today. Can you please confirm these are the correct steps from start to finish, assuming Docker has already been set up:

    1 . $ docker pull wanchain/client-go:2.1.2

    2 . $ docker run -d -v /home/YourUserName/.wanchain:/root/.wanchain wanchain/client-go:2.1.2 /bin/gwan

    3 . $ docker exec -it YourContainerID /bin/bash

    4 . root> gwan attach .wanchain/gwan.ipc

    5 .> personal.newAccount('YourPassword')

    6 .> personal.showPublicKey("YourAccountAddress", 'YourPassword')

    7 .> exit

    8 . root> echo "YourPassword" > /root/.wanchain/pw.txt

    9 . root> exit

    10 . $ docker stop YourContainerID

    11 . $ docker run -d -p 17717:17717 -p 17717:17717/udp -v /home/YourUserName/.wanchain:/root/.wanchain wanchain/client-go:2.1.2 /bin/gwan --etherbase "YourAccountAddress" --unlock "YourAccountAddress" --password /root/.wanchain/pw.txt --mine --minerthreads=1 --wanstats your-node-name:admin@wanstats.io

    12 . Register validator node through the official WanWallet

    @molin0000
    Mo Lin
    @molin0000
    Step 11 admin is not used anymore. Change admin to wanchainmainnetvalidator
    @brayshawx
    Other step is good.
    brayshawx
    @brayshawx
    thank you. So the correct form is --wanstats your-node-name: wanchainmainnetvalidator@wanstats.io
    Mo Lin
    @molin0000
    Yes
    brayshawx
    @brayshawx
    getting "failed to prepare header for mining err="unauthorized signer" is it normal?
