    i think the best option is: 1. leave the above message in this channel to signpost people in the right direction; 2. update as many existing links on the web as we can to point to https://gitter.im/LibraryCarpentry/Lobby; 3. a handful of us remain in this room with notifications turned on so we can point people to the new places if they ask questions here

    @jezcope there is a node package that is meant to archive gitter rooms, but I couldn’t get it to work yesterday - but it suggests it’s possible if we want to. But if this is remaining here then that’s fine - I don’t suppose we’ll have much reason to refer to it after a few weeks
