I needed jquery-loadmask but couldn't find a bower or npm but then jquery-loadmask-plus deployed from a github url
however, it has scss instead of css so it isnt much use

OK thanks. I thought the github url was a way of picking up the npm rather than deploying the source tree.
There are so many copies of jquery-loadmask on github automatically exported from google code but none seem to be publishing

what are you thoughts about github webjars?
2nd class citizens to the npm/bower/classic ones?
In future, do you think i should put in an issue request to the repo to publish to bower/npm or just deploy with the github url?

The only difference between using a GitHub URL and an artifact name is the name of the artifact in Maven Central.

Hmm, I found the original authors version of GitHub but there is no bower/npm file https://github.com/serg472/jquery-loadmask
Shall I try and create a classic webjar?
I just put 0.4 as the version and webjars magically packages up the whole tree right? https://github.com/serg472/jquery-loadmask/releases
