Hey, Rich! Actually, main use-case currently, is to understand and organize data.
For example, suppose you want to load data to ElasticSearch or somewhere, and want to normalize it, or you want to actually in each of the API responses simply bind the normalization schema for data consumers (e.g., analysts or reasoning systems). In those cases we can use the metaform to do it.
And, regarding the use-cases inside WeFindX, it's actually to define internal vocabularies, as well as reuse external ones (i.e., from semantic web initiative), to organize data. @richgillin
