@mhsutton_gitlab
@xet7 absolutely - will take a look and roll up sleeves and help were we can - have they been triaged at all? Or are they between nothing and something?
Lauri Ojansivu
@xet7
There is also Global Webhooks at Admin Panel wekan/wekan#2665
Open GitHub issues still have not been fixed. In my roadmap you see what I have in progress https://boards.wekan.team/b/D2SzJKZDS4Z48yeQH/wekan-open-source-kanban-board-with-mit-license
In general, every Wekan contributor works first on those issues that are most important to them.
Mike
@mhsutton_gitlab
ok - awesome, I'll start there
Lauri Ojansivu
@xet7
Thanks! :)
With Wekan, it has started to feel quite nice :) Someone moved from Trello to Wekan, because Wekan fixed some Trello pain points. And some are moving from Monday to Wekan. And you now from Jira to Wekan :D
Mike
@mhsutton_gitlab
@xet7 that is a lovely feeling. Great endorsement of the tireless work you've done to build something useful.
and thoroughly well deserved. Once I blog on my move from Jira to Wekan, I'm sure there will be a few more people using it.
Lauri Ojansivu
@xet7
@mhsutton_gitlab What is URL of your blog?
Mike
@mhsutton_gitlab
my blog is mhsutton.me but this will go on LinkedIn (where my long running anger at Jira and others has been hilariously shared).
will post link when done
Lauri Ojansivu
@xet7
@mhsutton_gitlab Do you have any questions about using Wekan ?
@mhsutton_gitlab Has you team looked at some Wekan issues that your team could help implement of fix ? Do you have any questions about Wekan code?
Mike
@mhsutton_gitlab
@xet7 -
  1. no questions - it's all very intuitive
  2. tomorrow (fridays) are our golden days - when we learn/donate time/do something else - we have had a tough few weeks so tomorrow will be a half day so we can catch up. I intend to intro the team to it and picking up issues etc
  3. Not had a chance to look, will do so tomorrow.
the team already using, just intro the idea that we will be helping to fix issues AND adding stuff we we would like too. Webhooks very like to be first
haven't encountered particularly irritating bugs yet
Lauri Ojansivu
@xet7
What Webhooks? Do you mean something that is missing from board Outgoing Webhooks?
Mike
@mhsutton_gitlab
yes
for example when we add 'Done' to a card, we want to send a json payload to RocketChat
and announce to the engineering channel that the card is done
also we are used to IDs for cards - we use them to name our branches - so first adventure in the code is to find that and if it is usable - expose it.
ultimately what we want is shortcodes - for board, list and item
Lauri Ojansivu
@xet7
Do you mean Pretty ID wekan/wekan#2450
Mike
@mhsutton_gitlab
so if we had board: DS1, list 'TECH', item xa123 - then we can have good id like DS1-TECH-xa123
Lauri Ojansivu
@xet7
Some redirections are at router, so maybe some ID could redirect https://github.com/wekan/wekan/blob/master/config/router.js#L188
Mike
@mhsutton_gitlab
yeah - pretty ID ok, but what I described would be better for us as we are a multi project team and multi features
ah cool
Lauri Ojansivu
@xet7
In that case, you could comment on Pretty ID feature that you could make it more generic ID feature
You can also look do you have any additional comments about Teams/Organizations feature I have in progress wekan/wekan#802
About does it cover enough of your use cases
Mike
@mhsutton_gitlab
commented on that teams/org feature
