To do: if a user is already in the database we get an error message which we should relay to the user on the browser..

Moreover, if a user is already signed up, they shouldn’t be able to try and do it again. Login should check if they exist in db, and if so skip sign up and take them straight to account

had a min before rehearsal, so fixed the cookie redirect issue. auth is set to false for the file serving route, so security issue if a ‘view’ is requested by path, I think. Might need to more the html out of public again. anyway, will merge to dev.

server side render?????

server side render sounds good to me. Keen to render using client side script to ask for rerenders of specific page elements rather than whole age views, if appropriate. E.g. admin panel, rerender only memberlist element when filtered (or filter client side.) Anyway, basically, yes, server side. Any limiations it imposes we can get round.
also, just poking around and noticed a remenant of an incompletely resolved merge conflict in account.html.

something like this: agenda could be useful for sending schduled emails, e.g. subscription reminders. There are other schedulers, but the key ingredient is a persistance layer (mongo here, handily), so you don’t lose scheduled jobs if your process stops

@sarahabimay I take it from your message history that you’re having trouble getting apparently sent emails to appear on the other end? Just been messing with the scheduling trying to get an email sent, and I think I’ve got it working, but I’m not geting the email. So, same issue? Interestingly, I just signed up and got the acknowlegment email just fine

hah, lol, they were in spam. Speaking of which, apologies for the stream of emails you’re likely to receive over the next 24 hours
