@x64dbgbot
<SunBeam> so you would then have the newest exe with the pdb from 2 days ago
<SunBeam> πŸ˜„ πŸ˜„
<SunBeam> of course they wouldn't match
x64dbgbot
@x64dbgbot
<mrexodia> πŸ˜„
<SunBeam> look at this:
<SunBeam> DLL from 96 with PDB from the future
<SunBeam> πŸ˜„ πŸ˜„
x64dbgbot
@x64dbgbot
<SunBeam> then people ask for remakes/remastered versions and they go like "oh, gee, we don't have the source code anymore" (aka it's fucked)
x64dbgbot
@x64dbgbot
<BenzoKinnggg201> Anyone here good with cryptography/cryptanalysis? (Sorry offtopic) if so could you PM me please
x64dbgbot
@x64dbgbot
<TomieKawakami> what version is that ida
x64dbgbot
@x64dbgbot
<Pastor Jim Colerick> Depends on what you need done
x64dbgbot
@x64dbgbot
<zinix224> if i use idadbgpy, and i do a "print" where can i see the output?
x64dbgbot
@x64dbgbot
<TomieKawakami> On the log below
x64dbgbot
@x64dbgbot
<SunBeam> 7.5
<TomieKawakami> ||Legally?||
x64dbgbot
@x64dbgbot
<SunBeam> no
<SunBeam> I don't use it on my day to day activity, so no point
<SunBeam> I use it only to make fake pdbs
x64dbgbot
@x64dbgbot
<TomieKawakami> ||I see. Well i dont like the 7.5 leak going around it crashes when you want to load another file on the same window also got random crashe and the most annoying part is when u already scan for string u have to do it again whenever you load it . I love the new 7.6 sp2 one Sorry for off topic||

@joej11
Hey does this program create an exe called DLLLoader64_3D88.exe?
x64dbgbot
@x64dbgbot
<Pastor Jim Colerick> Why would you even use IDA anymore
<Pastor Jim Colerick> Ghidra is honestly better at this point
x64dbgbot
@x64dbgbot
<SunBeam> I don't
<SunBeam> either
<SunBeam> very rarely
x64dbgbot
@x64dbgbot
<checkraisefold> don't worry. only takes 2 hours to auto analyze.
<checkraisefold> java moment
<checkraisefold> done and done!

<TomieKawakami> Debatable.. I use IDA for more than 8 years now. I feel IDA is more faster because its written in modern c. Hex rays also more accurate at guessing data types ,struct, thunk and function type def , no other decompiler yet that i know can compete with hexray when it comes to readability. And more user friendly but again its debatable xD making plugins is easy because u can either do it in c++ or Python 3. And IDA is more matured. Its been around since 1991. It works on Apple m1 binaries too.

The cons of ida is the price xD imo. But ngl ghidra is good enough if cant afford ida.

x64dbgbot
@x64dbgbot
<Pastor Jim Colerick> Yeah I dont do anything exotic so Amd64 support is all Ive ever needed so Ghidra is perfect for me, also find it alot easier to fix decompilation problems in ghidra but that comes down to experience with the tool
x64dbgbot
@x64dbgbot
<the_janitor> what about the constantly changing IDA SDK? that's always a turnoff, having to recompile stuff for different versions
x64dbgbot
@x64dbgbot
<TomieKawakami> do you go back and fort in other versions? I feel changing sdk is normal.. software upgrades.. things change.. api changes.. sdk changes..
x64dbgbot
@x64dbgbot
<mrexodia> Not for x64dbg (re @x64dbg_bot: <TomieKawakami> do you go back and fort in other versions? I feel changing sdk is normal.. software upgrades.. things change.. api changes.. sdk changes..)
<mrexodia> But yeah I also think this is a massive pain of ida
x64dbgbot
@x64dbgbot
<TomieKawakami> does x64dbgpy work on py3 or future plans? xD this looks promising im trying it now haha in my vm. i dint notice this plugin before..

<mrexodia> But I don’t think there was much progress
x64dbgbot
