    Hi Folks, I am an IBM MQ & Integration SME and want to explorer the use Zato for MQ based Integration Projects.. Any tips on where to start to get going?
    Dariusz Suchojad
    @dsuch
    Hi @hondab - if you are experienced with MQ then you will be easily able to start using it under Zato. What kind of integration projects, scenarios or processes do you have in mind?

    @hondab
    Hi Dariusz, So I have been in the Integration space for 30+ years and have used MQ / ACE (WMB/IIB) and ITX (WTX) as the main staple for my tooling. I am now looking for something like Zato which is simpler for small integration projects but would like to keep MQ and maybe ITX because of its support for EDI X12 standards transformation capability and want to see how Zato can help with the HL7 and FHIR Integration projects. So will be trying to get the basic of Zato working and then seeing how I can use it to address the use cases where cost is a major concern.

    For future reference, here is an article about Zato, Python and IBM MQ https://zato.io/blog/posts/ibm-mq-python-api-integrations.html

    We are building services based on the JSONAdapter. We have multiple environments dev/test/prd - we do not want to maintain separate outgoing rest connections for the same endpoints for each environment. Is there a way to override the host value on outgoing connections? That way we could have one outgoing connection that could service multiple environments.
    Dariusz Suchojad
    @dsuch
    @wss-chadical It is possible to do it using environment variables, please post your Zato version and I will see about creating an article explaining it.

    Here it is https://zato.io/blog/posts/config-env-variables.html - information how to use environment variables to make one's code and configuration independent of a particular execution environment.

    @dusch - thank you - that was easy

    Would be nice to have more dynamic options other than environment - which is sort of a set once when services start...
    I would prefer to be able to override the host anytime we call a service...

    Example: We have a service that services multiple customers on a particular platform - the host is different for each customer but the url for the particular endpoint is same for everyone....

    We do not want to create a outgoing connection for each customer - just have one with a dynamic host.

    @dsuch Hi Dariusz, when i use Zato 3.2+rev.697dc5d-py3.7.8

    I have a problem, I created a topic named /food/new, and created an endpoint of type rest, when I use the POST method to access /zato/pubsub/topic//food/new to try to post information, it returns the error

    if self.request.input.sub_key:\n File \"src\/zato\/cy\/simpleio.py\", line 137, in zato.simpleio.ServiceInput.getattr\ nAttributeError: No such key sub_key among {'topic_name': '\/food\/new', 'data': '123'}\n"}

    There is not a sub_key when posting messages using the REST interface
    I hope this can be answered, thank you very much!

    Hello @libigfat - please open a ticket in GitHub with a full traceback formatted so that it can be read in a web-browser. Thank you.

    @dsuch Ok, I have created an issus, thanks a lot.

    Hi @dsuch, does the local file transfer channel function like an SFTP file transfer without the SFTP connection? I've used the blog post about multi-protocol file transfer as a rough guideline to try and set up a (very) simple configuration to pass a local file to a service that logs the contents, but the service does not seem to trigger.

    I understand there are many things that could be going wrong, I just want to make sure the local file channel is functioning as I hope it does before digging deeper.

    @dsuch
    Hello @sam-e2
    The local file transfer picks up files from local directories so a file needs to exist in the local file system, yes.
    It will best if you post your question and setup (screenshot of the file transfer definition) to the user forum along with information if Samba is involved in any way. Thanks.

    Hi everyone! I am doing a project where I need my services to run as cron jobs. The thing is that when I try to execute the cron job (even the ones that come by default) I get ssl error when trying to connect with the port of the scheduler. I would like to know if this has happened to any of you and if so, how to solve it. Thanks a lot!
    Dariusz Suchojad
    @dsuch
    @JoelVG_gitlab Yes, I replied in the forum.

    Hi its me again ! I am trying to import a sql connection from zato enmasse to avoid having to enter the dashboard, I am looking for the password to be imported and to use ssl authentication. Is there any way to do this? Regards.
    Dariusz Suchojad
    @dsuch
    @JoelVG_gitlab - Hello, how to set passwords is shown at the end of this page documenting enmasse. For anything that requires a longer discussion, please open a thread in the forum.

    Hi, sorry to bother you so much. The thing is that I have the delivery of the integration system soon and I need to access the documentation. Is there a way to access the old documentation? I see that it is being updated and some links take me to the main page.

    @JoelVG_gitlab this is an archive of 3.1 version of docs, but some things may have changed in 3.2

    https://web.archive.org/web/20200811043437/https://zato.io/docs/?5

    @JoelVG_gitlab it looks like everything is there in the new version https://zato.io/en/docs/3.2/index.html

    I am trying to implement Zato using the cloud docker image, I am getting some errors in the web admin. I am looking for some inputs on how some of you guys are implementing in Docker/ Kubernetes/ regular servers?
    Gerson Rojas
    @thegrojas_gitlab

    @sampathpagolu , I'm on the same boat, trying to use the Helm chart. It seems that the cloud docker image is outdated (uses old param structure for create operations)

    @sampathpagolu Were you able to succesfully deploy the cloud image?

    @DimShadoWWW, could you give us some input on what else should be updated besides the create commands on entrypoint.sh ?
    Lakshmi Sampath Pagolu
    @sampathpagolu
    @thegrojas_gitlab I have not been able to do that. Shelved it for now and using ec2 ubuntu VM for it.
