    Hi @antron3000 and Happy New Year! Yes, we can talk here.
    Antoine De Vuyst
    @antron3000
    hey thanks, happy new year
    I'm trying out the tutorial at zksync.io
    so far its going pretty well, I was able to make deposits and get my balance from the zksync devnet
    though I had to make a change to zksync.js to make it work (changing the address format from sync:.... to 0x.....
    now making a transfer and it's been pending for some time
    I just want to say congrats on the awesome work, its very very cool and I look forward to working with it
    Antoine De Vuyst
    @antron3000
    yes all the transfers seem to be pending
    Alex G
    @gluk64
    We are deploying a new version soon, it will support the new address format. You shall wait with testing, the current testnet might be incompatible with the source code in master.

    @antron3000
    I seem to have zksync.js working! But yes transfers on the testnet don't seem to be happening, even when using the demo app. Thanks, will try out the new version when it's released!

    Hi there, can zksync be used to do instant erc20 transfer ? What is the usually finality time of tx ?
    Alex G
    @gluk64
    Tx confirmations are instant, but full finality on the mainnet is reached in ~5 min.

    Hello,
    I am trying out your developer guide turorial but I am getting an error when trying to deposit into the zksync account. The error is thrown at syncWallet.depositToSyncFromEthereum and saith:

    (node:53323) UnhandledPromiseRejectionWarning: TypeError: Cannot read property 'contractAddress' of undefined
        at Wallet.<anonymous> (/Users/jbentke/Documents/Payment_Solution_PoC2/PoC3_zksync/node_modules/zksync/build/wallet.js:279:93)
        at Generator.next (<anonymous>)
        at fulfilled (/Users/jbentke/Documents/Payment_Solution_PoC2/PoC3_zksync/node_modules/zksync/build/wallet.js:5:58)
        at processTicksAndRejections (internal/process/task_queues.js:97:5)

    I pretty much just copied the code from the tutorial until the receipt part. Any idea what I could have done wrong?
    Thanks :D

    We just updated the server but I'm afraid not the zksync.js
    Will follow up
    Things will be a little chaotic in the next couple of days, as the entire team is focused on the near launch

    alright, thanks for the info :)

    Hello. I was wondering if a potential zkSync based smart-contract (eventually) will be composable with other L1 based ones
    Alex G
    @gluk64
    Hi @snasps! It will be composable with others within zkSync. This is a fundamental limitation of all L2 solutions.
    Nassim
    @snasps
    Oh ok. Thanks a lot @gluk64

    @gluk64 hey, any info on how validators and guardians will be onboarded?
    Alex G
    @gluk64
    @y3v63n this is a part of a later phase
    For now we start with just one validator. This won't affect the security of the system.

    @gluk64 looks like there's an issue when you try to connect with Metamask. When the window with "Connecting to metamask" pops up, nothing happens
    Tried in Chrome and Brave
    y3v63n
    @y3v63n
    ok, seems to be working now

    Hi ! What's the best ressource to learn how zksync and sync works ? There are some docs on your site but nothing about snarks and your implementation. I've found a paper about "Plonk" but I'm sure if that's the best ressource to learn. Thanks !

    Hi, what's the dev env for developer guide? https://zksync.io/dev/tutorial.html
    流星狂飙
    @shanelau
    The provider https://rinkeby-api.zksync.dev/jsrpc is OK,but infura rinkeby get error The method contract_address does not exist/is not available'
    Chris Hobcroft
    @chrishobcroft
    Hi there - dev question - is there any Kotlin library / SDK for interfacing with zksync?
    流星狂飙
    @shanelau
    The problem has nothing to do with language. Use infura provider will get error.
    Another question, How 'contract wallet' integrate with zkSync. The key question is about signature. Don't know what to do

    Hey y'all is it currently possible to write smart contracts for zkSync in Zinc?

    @tshabs
    Hey, doesn't seem to be the case for now. I'm curious to know how far along progress is on this front (only info for now I could find is at https://zksync.io/faq/sc.html)

    @androolloyd
    Curious about the subscriptions implementation.
    Y’all have any interest in abstracting it so it’s less specific to how Reddit operates?
    Alex G
    @gluk64
    Hey @androolloyd, it is already abstracted and fully documented:
    Andrew Redden
    @androolloyd
    Well from the overview it’s pretty on par with how Reddit is implementing stuff. Curious if there is a way to design EIP-1337 into the Franklin circuit. And use meta txns style signatures. Pre signing many months worth of txns doesn’t feel like a good workflow.
