    have anyone used https://foundation.zurb.com/apps/docs/#!/angular in angular2+ projects?
    is it possible to use these elements inside angular project or is it strictly for angularJS ?
    Daniel Ruf
    @DanielRuf
    @RigaNik Foundation Apps is deprecated for Foundation Sites.

    @wfd2018 which Node.js version do you use?

    Are we getting close to being able to import just necessary modules?
    Daniel Ruf
    @DanielRuf
    Yes, 6.5.0 will be released soon.
    Chris
    @paxperscientiam
    @DanielRuf awesome! thanks for the response :)
    Will something like Foundation.addToJquery($) still be necessary?
    Daniel Ruf
    @DanielRuf
    jQuery is still required. I've never used this function except in the explicit-pieces.js example of the Zurb template.
    Chris
    @paxperscientiam
    Oh, I knew that. However, I've ever gotten it work with that function. But who knows, maybe just the peculiarities of my setup

    Hi everyone. I’m having a weird issue, can’t figure it out.
    So I have an app with foundation. No other css. And the grid-frame doesn’t work for me - the footer goes off-screen and I have to scroll to it.
    The weird thing is if I copy the generated html from the inspector and paste it to codepen - it works. Same thing if I make a static html file and open it in browser. But not when it’s rendered by the app (whic doesn’t do anything fancy, just puts stuff into dom).
    Can there be any issues when the app is generated dynamically?
    Okay, never mind that. A weirder thing happened. I opened it in firefox - and all works. Then I opened it in another chrome tab - and it works, too. The first tab, no matter how many times I refresh it - broken. There goes another wasted hour of my life :)

    Hi all, I'm stuck getting an i-frame to center. here is the code: <section class="nasa video">
    <h4> Launch Date:
    The James Webb Space Telescope will launch in 2021. <br>
    It will be launched on an Ariane 5 rocket.</h4>
    <div class="responsive-embed panorama">
    <iframe width="1024" height="315" src=" https://jwst.nasa.gov/jwstKeyFactsInternational /" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
    </div>
    </div>
    </section>

    Should it be possible to import util/breakpoint by itself? (it depends on at least _unit.scss, which it doesn't import). I'm just trying to get a better understanding of Sass dependencies.

    Hi, I’m starting with a beta version of a new tool for frontend devs with Foundation support. Could you take a look and comment what to change/improve? http://frontendocean.com - parameters, validation, building and sharing. I’m also looking for help from other developer. If you like my project let me know please...
    Daniel Ruf
    @DanielRuf
    @glen-84 afaik no, otherwise you have to import the needed dependent sass files. We have the mixins and functions.
    Glen
    @glen-84

    @DanielRuf What I mean is, should util/breakpoint import util/unit, since it uses functions from that partial. i.e. You either have:

    a) util/breakpoint depends on/imports util/unit, and you only need to import util/breakpoint. (graph-like dependencies)
    b) util/breakpoint doesn't import util/unit, so if you need to use util/breakpoint, you have to import util/unit as well. (flat dependencies)

    The way it is now, I have to know what util/breakpoint depends on, and that may change over time (so code could break, in theory). Also, it's hard to know whether or not it's okay to use util/breakpoint on its own, vs all of util/util, vs the whole of Foundation.

    However, I don't really know what the norm is in Sass. This is obviously how things work in JS, but that behaves differently as well.

    Daniel Ruf
    @DanielRuf
    @glen-84 you can break them out and try to add the needed files and imports but so far we do many imports just once in the global files.

    Urghhh! I need some serious help. I can't get Foundation js working with webpack. Everything works when I compile the js file to a static build but when my webpack server is running nothing is working, for example Foundation.MediaQuery.current says undefined on my local server, but in the compiled version it gives me the right log when I open up the html. Wired...!
    Glen
    @glen-84
    @marcustisater Are you using the style-loader during dev?
    TonyLugg

    When building a form with xy grid, there is a lot of space between rows. Is there a global setting to reduce the space. It seems that inputs have a bottom margin of 1rem. I could override that but not sure if that will bite me later on.
    TonyLugg
    @TonyLugg
    I just tried $form-spacing, which kinda worked but the labels no longer align with the middle of the inputs.
    TonyLugg
    @TonyLugg
    I've ditched foundation-sites and created my own styles. Not much help here.
    Daniel Ruf
    @DanielRuf
    Hi, sorry that we've missed that but our Slach channel is the main support channel and we also have a tag on stackoverflow and the GitHub issue tracker.
    And yes there is a setting for the gaps.
    A codepen could have been helpful for us.

    was/is there some ongoing discussion about deprecating jquery use in Foundation? if yes, got a link?
    Igor Escalona
    @igorer88
    It's a shame that in the past they were using AngularJS and they drop it to go back to jQuery. I think there's no documentation to use it with actual libs.

    It's on our roadmap / plan for v7 and I have started a branch to replace jQuery. Angular was never used for Foundation Sites but Foundation Apps which is not maintained anymore afaik.
    Igor Escalona
    @igorer88
    I think it was great but since I think it needed Ruby on Rails it was a huge learning curve. To learn AngularJS + Ruby on Rails.
    But I always liked Foundation much more than Bootstrap, it was a greater alternative, at least for me.
